I used it for a bit, but I could not do it as two meal replacements I was very hungry. I also bought a different protein powder because I don't like soy based I wanted a whey protein, and what I bought was cheaper and bigger. I would say forget it, focus on CICO and you will succeed.

Eat what you want in your deficit and you will lose weight. Do you like smoothies? You can add fruit and veg with yogurt and chocolate milk to cover up the taste. For stir fry you could blend those with the soy and make a sauce for the vegetable and meat you do like.

Know that this is going to be a process you will not lose 10lbs in week that is not how this works 1-2lbs a week is great.

I guess it is more 4 meals but over 4 days we make side items to fill it out. I eat 1/2 good part (all meat no fat) other 1/2 goes for a lunch SO eats the outside fatty parts so two lunches two dinners for me. All the meaty fat pars for SO. You should see how we stretch a whole chicken SO loves the innards.

So if someone on food stamps buys a steak people get all up in arms and if they buy pop that is unacceptable too? So buy good nutritious food but not something that is considered fancy no steak or shrimp just bagged chicken and carrots? When I was on SNAP I would buy steaks and 2 8oz steaks would feed us for 4 days.

I was on food stamps and I had a full time job that paid *kitten*. I used all the money I made on bills. When you are poor AF it's nice to be able to buy a treat once in a while. Pop is what $4-5 for a 12pack who cares if they buy that it's does not take all the money.

If he does not eat what you make he can make his own food and as another poster said you have lunch for the next day. It is not a big deal he is not on this journey you are. You are both adults.

Do not go 5 nights a week to midnight pizza and ice cream. In realty try to eat at maintenance calories you will have to estimate unless dining halls now give you calorie information.

I eat gluten free and I am poor AF. I look for deals on meat (make sure the meat you buy is not fortified with broth), lots of vegetables and fruits, but with part of your colon gone it may be hard to digest those things. Have you spoken to a nutritionist about what you can and can not eat?

I have found that deep cleaning helps me out in those times. Scrubbing walls, corners of floors, reorganizing closets the bathtub whatever to keep my mind and body busy.

I have been getting cross contaminated by gluten lately and I was thinking of trying this for a week or two. I don't think I could do it for 30 days I do love my sweets. I agree with above posters it is for food sensitivity not really for losing weight.
