Absolutely. You just need to be patient and keep at it! You'll start realizing that "real" food fills you up and you stay full longer, which definitely helps so you're not craving empty calories :)

Measure and weigh your food- you may be surprised to find you are over or under by much more than what your diary shows. Also, eat some of those exercise calories back and switch up your workouts.

I'd remind myself how long it took me to get to my highest weight and that A) I don't ever want to see it again, and B) it didn't come on overnight and it won't come off overnight. You're doing this for you and no one else...who cares about what other people think? But if you're that worried about it and it will keep you from running, try early morning or late night runs when there's not a lot of people out. Always remember- no matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everybody on the couch…
