I am 5'9 and MFP has me eating 1760 cals a day and I have my profile set to lose 2 pounds per week. There are days I go over by a couple hundred and some days I come in under by a couple hundred. MFP set my calories based off my current weight.

I think your best bet would be one of two things. You can get a heart rate monitor that you wear during work and see what you are burning, or you can set your activity to sedentary and worst case scenario you will lose a little quicker.
