I've joined the group but I will be slightly behind you guys as I'm doing my last 30DS tonight. I normally do about 4 a week and gym/run the rest but will be nice to know I'm not the only one suffering through it. Can I ask - how many days on each level is it for Ripped?? xx

Can you work out your TDEE for moderate and heavy - then go bang in the middle?? If you think it's between the two, then that probably would give you a more realistic number? Not sure if that works with the mathmatics behind the numbers though.

I just returned a pair of those as I have narrow feet and when done up they bunched up around the lower toe area. I have always found nike rubbish for narrow feet. I have saucony omni10 for running shoes and have just got some adidas for cardio classes (was limited in choice as couldn't refund the nike, just replace and…

I often do 30DS on the same day as either running or cardio at the gym but I tend to do it in the eve, and gym in the morning. I did try and do 30DS about 2 hours after a gym session and stopped half way through as was just too tired. Depends how fit you already are. Give it a try, if you can't do it straight after, do it…

I'm in! I'm going to use my start day as 30 June as I had a great food day after a week of a number of chocolate binges (birthday last week). Binge free: 1 Binges: 0

I'm sorry to gain so much enjoyment from all of your misery...... but hilarious!!! Thank you for sharing!!

I didn't know this - thought the hunger pains were a sign I needed more fuel for my workouts. I can give the extra water a shot.

Endurance really - Whilst I am lean, I haven't ever been fit enough to run far or strong enough to even lift myself. It's purely fitness. Obviously hoping to lose the slight mummy tummy at the same time, but not anything more than a few pounds.

I have nearly completed Shred (only doing it about 4/5 times a week) and have noticed changes in my strength and body (lost inches without the pounds). The big difference I can see if that I used to attend some classes at my local gym and was always the one stopping moves early, or using the lowest weights and not able to…

If you're finding this site helpful in losing weight you may find quitnet.com helpful for quitting smoking. Has a forum for questions, a chat room for instant replies and it's very motivating. It's nice knowing others are in the same situation. Last time I quit which was 18 months ago I used patches only for a couple of…

I don't do it everyday. I do it about 4/5 times a week but I do also do cardio at the gym or jog on other days. Have still noticed changes in my body from it.

Beyond tracking exercise to eat - I've seen people gain calories for drinking cold water!! Surely that's clutching at straws even more than logging a walk around the mall. When I had my cals set low that I needed to work for exra cals I could see why people would log everything. I didn't, but on hungry days I was tempted!!…

This. I don't even like wearing jeans on a long walk outdoors if I'm going to get at all sweaty. :s

I'd like to hear more on this alsi if anyone knows?? :)

I'm 5'9 and about 130lbs at the mo. I started Shred about 6 weeks ago (2 injuries made it longer) along with a slight deficit and I have lost about 3 inches on my belly. It;s not completely flat but I am starting to see some upper abs (and I've had two c-sections). I also do cardio at the gym about 6 times a week. I…

I'm a fan off caffeine pre-workout too!!

Her?!?! Are you sure?

I use more almond milk and less oatmeal but this is exactly what I put in my morning smoothies. Yummo!

I'd get very bored doing just one level for 30 days! I would deffo move on to something else - I am on day 5 of level 3 and have Ripped in 30 to start straight after. I think the benefit of having 3 different levels is that they seem to target slightly different parts of the body. Well done for going straight in at level 3…

Thanks for the reply ladies :) I've had a look at the EatMore group and looked into the TDEE and BMR cals and the 1800 ties in well to my TDEE minus 15% so shall see how it goes for a few weeks. :)

Level 17/20 for an hour?!?! That's insane. I'd actually die after that.

Aside from pregnancies and one blip with weight I have always been 'skinny fat'. I get looks from people if they notice I'm making healthier food choices as though I shouldn't need to bother but whilst I'm skinny I'm not fit. Couldn't run any distance and had no strength. Have only been on the site a couple of months and…

I always think that about girls with their hair down. My hair still touches my back when it's up (very long) and it bugs me if I can feel it hitting my neck. I'm shocked about jeans?!?!?! On machines?!?! I'd laugh out loud, honestly!

9am opening on weekends and unfriendly staff. There is also a wave machine that about 80% of the people who use it are doing it wrong, and they never tell them. Surely if you're paid to work there, actually work, don't just stand at the desk chatting. It's cheap though and has everything I need so can't complain too much.

I read up on this and spoke to my biology teacher - she told me similar to this: You probably know that your digestive tract depends upon compounds called digestive enzymes -- these are proteins produced by the cells in your gut and accessory organs -- to help you break down your food. Drinking with your meals does…

I created my own on MFP and log it as 165 cals. I'm not sure if that is 100% but I did a few google searches and that's what I came up with. I think a lot of people log it as circuit training.

I'm just about to start level 3 (It has taken me about a month to get through the last two levels due to two injuries so did level two in 18 days) but I have noticed a massive difference in strength and have dropped 5% bodyfat.

Abstainer here. I stopped eating dairy just so I couldn't eat chocolate. Worked really well and managed it for a few months but found it too difficult with eating meals with others to keep it up. I now don't eat as much as I used to (sometimes a whole block a night!)

Bumping this. I am just finishing Shred but have ordered ripped last night to begin in straight after. xx
