We're on the same day! Looking forward to starting levek 3, more than anything as I'm sick of doing the same thing over and over.

Exagerated? I always thought they weren't being as they lose or gain so little in the following three months! I'm 5'8 also and eat 1,600 plus exercise cals. I put my cals up by 200 recently as felt I was loosing too much. I think I'll be closer to 2000 for maintenance. Love, love this show!! As well as secret eaters!!!

I've attemped running many times in the past and have always given up - I think because I never saw any progress. I think if you have a plan - like Couch 2 5 K you can actually see the results each week as you're watching the minutes you run go up and this is far more motivating. Even if you don't stick to a specific…

Just about to make mine now - 2 whole egg, 2 whites, spinach and cottage cheese. Yummo!

Did my first run outside and really enjoyed it. Managed to run as long as I normally do inside but found it a little easier on my joints. x

I get the same thing in my left leg when I do one of the ab exercises in level 2. When I extend one leg out and crunch it clicks twice on the up and down. I was going to check when I saw my chiro this week, but like you, it's not painful, just off-putting.

Normally a treadmill runner as only just starting out but going to hit it outside tomorrow if it's not raining as getting a little bored in the gym. Looking forward to the change in pace.

Greek yogurt with crushed fresh raspberries!!! Amazing!!! Extra indulgent - on top of a mini meringue with a teaspoon with lemon curd. Fav pudding.

This is the date of my sister's wedding. I'm bridesmaid and working towards this date also for body improvements! :)

Another vote for 30 Day Shred. Kicks my *kitten* and I have really noticed a difference in my body especially upper arms and belly.

Just seen you're in the UK. Watch these on BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006ykhp It's about people with similar food issues and shows ways to improve it.

Your body rejects it because your brain knows not to eat plants?? Surely your brain knows not to eat an animal too but there is no mention that you don't eat meat? It doesn't make a huge amount of sense if I'm honest. Good luck with that though!
-
Meat was a killer for us also! None in two years. Cannot recommend enough this book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Meals-without-Tears-Healthily-Happily/dp/0273712683 Honestly, turned everything around for us. I would also recommend doing things like finger paints, messy play to try and get past the texture issues. My son was…

Do you think it's taste that stops you eating or the texture/feeling? I only ask because you mention 'bits' in juices. There used to be a show on TV about extreme eaters - people who really did live without any fruit/veg and some who just lived on crisps (chips)!! They used a lot of different ways to introduce veg and…

I had this at my friend's the other day. Amazing! http://www.recipegirl.com/2012/03/26/mexican-quinoa-salad/

Oh should have said.... I am going to start the New Rules when I finish shred! Shred is based on 3 circuits of cardio, strength and abs. It is helping to build my strength but not anywhere near something like New Rules (from what I understand anyway). Thanks for your reply. :)

I'm wondering if anyone can help me..... I'm still very new to this whole lifestyle change. I've pretty much always been a 'skinny fat' person but in the last couple of months have dropped some pounds to be back to be back to my pre pregnancy size and have started working out a lot more. I currently do cardio at the gym 4…
-
I'm on level 2 day 6 - any shred users are welcome to add me. :)
-
Isn't 'skinny fat' referring to very skinny people who are unhealthy? So whilst they aren't fat, because of their lifestyle it's more like a 'fat' persons? Not sure what this has to do with cardio V lifting? Except that for skinny people they don't need the cardio to lose weight, they need the lifting to get a better body?

Thanks for your responses. :) I'll have a look into this pose style for tips. Have tried the exercise and has given some relief but think I'll give tonight a miss as feeling a little worse now and keep doing this exercise over the next few days and hopefully see an improvement. Ta x

Did a good workout on the treadmill today but left my legs a bit sore tonight so having a rest day from shred tonight.... back to it tomorrow! :) Great going ladies!!
-
You're welcome to add me. Am in the UK also. :) x

I agree that it doesn'tseem like it's a magical weight loss tool, I just wasn't sure if there was any reason to be anti-Jillian?? I've always been impressed with her workouts so wondered if I was missing something. :)
-
Why's that?
-
What is the difference between shred and shred with weights?? Are they heavier weights? xx
-
Just got through level 2 day 6. So much better than last night and I can now do ALL the walk out press ups! Proper men press ups!! I am seriously impressed at myself with that. I can see a real difference in my shoulders - I think level 2 is all about shoulders though. When I get through to level 3 I'll put in my order for…

Bump for info. I'm 5'8 and 129 but still have a slight mummy tummy and would love to 'tone up'. I do cardio (running treadmill) and Jillian dvds. Just stolen my friend's weights so going to try and do some of the New Rules training at home. Have no idea what my body fat is though. :s
-
I'm on day 15 (has taken 3 weeks as I do other exercise on some days) and have seen a real difference. I'm 5'8 and 129 so not looking to lose weight, just improve my ftness. My stomach has shrunk (two pregnancies and excess skin), my arms have become more defined and I can do 5 proper man press ups!!! I haven't noticed any…

Thanks for the replies ladies! I'm glad it's not just me. Have ordered some protein as was struggling to try and get enough protein in my diet everyday so hopefully that will help for next time at staying full (though I want to eat even when full at the moment) and will try the other suggestions also. Dark choc is also a…

I'm on level 2: day 5. I had no energy for this - tried coming up with excuses not to but decided to do it and I nearly died. I am HALF WAY there though! Whoop!
