No longer an Aussie but I did spot yours as a VL. I learnt to drive in one of those!!

Warburtons make a pita and also a sandwich substitute called 'thins'. Both available in supermarkets and have lower cals/carbs than most breads. Both come in white or wholemeal. They are tasty too. :)

I started with 30DS also and then joined the gym. You know what, some of their classes were easier than Jillian! They even used a lot of the same moves! Try something like 'body conditioning' if they have it as it will work similar parts that you're used to which might help build your confidence to try all the classes. My…

That is the goal you gave him - so why does he care what is on the scale?? Your wedding is in spring, surely you would be better working on exactly what your goal stated becoming strong. If you need to do a slight cut closer to the wedding to drop some cals, sure, but you can't get strong if you keep dropping your cals…

I think they recommend squats and arm raises as it works two muscles together? Jillian does a similar thing. Think it's to do with burning more calories. I started my squating with dumbbells. 10kg in each hand. Kettlebells are easier as you can hold it in the moddle so can get a wider squat IMO. You are obviously limited…

I make a massive lasagna every week for my youngest who loves it so much he eats it at least once a day (it's my super healthy version) but that idea is just brilliant as I would be able to pack them in his lunch box for nursery without it being a super messy meal! Can't wait to try them!

It was hard enough to refrain from breaking in to song from the title..... you just made it impossible.

If you could come and make my food everyday - that'd be great. Perfect amount of cals for me and everything looked delish! :drinker:

Feel free to add me - am eating above 2000. :)

I never quite get why people pay the fees to not use it properly but on the other hand the less girls use the weights, the less chance there is I will have to wait for anything I need. It's hard to really judge though - today people would have said the same about me. Turned up with make-up and left with most of it still in…

Guilty pleasure of mine also - in fact it was on last night here so tonight I get to watch it online in bed! Bliss - sad I know. Keep your eye out for The Only Way is Essex - you'll love it as well.

Someone mentioned a bench, barbell etc which would be really good - or even dumbbells. There are some great all body training plans online that you can follow. Someone recently bought a bench for under £100 though and it was very poor quality so avoid the cheaper ones at sports direct if it is something you look in to…

What are you trying to achieve? Lose weight? Gain muscle? Endurance? Completely depends on what your goals are as to what would be the most beneficial.

5'9 I guess I'm a boyish shape - very straight up and down with no butt. I started at 135 when I joined and dropped down to 129. I then found out about lifting and have increased my cals to about 2500 a day to and just weighed in today at 143lbs. Think I will continue the higher cals for another week and then lower to…

Sending you a request. :) I eat around 2500 each day and lift about 3/4 times a week. My scale is currently rising at the moment but don't seem to be doing much expanding so hoping bodyfat isn't going up. Trying to ignore the scale as much as possible though. Nice to have others as friends who are eating more and…

I want to do one of these in 2013 I am more fitness based than weight based but still find this site works well for my goals. WIll send you a request!

If I've run for over 30 minutes I'll get cold after a run, and it will normally last a few hours. I googled it and apparently it's when you don't cool down properly and let your heart rate slowly drop. I think it's something to do with your core temp working hard to cool you down from all the exercise so even when you've…

The leapfrog versions would struggle to hold my 6 year old's attention for long. I upgraded my phone to the samsung s3 just so my kids could play it at various places where I need entertainment (younger having to sit through 3 hours a week of older's afterschool activities etc). I am aiming to get one of the andriod…

From Bristol, England to Torquay, Australia. I'm from Aust and would give anything to move back there one day and be surrounded by all my family. I would love to live in Seattle again for a few years though.

bump - for info.

What about a sport to join? My son is only 6 but does martial arts. He does this between 2 and 3 times a week and they teach the importance of exercise. As they progress they also learn about diet and about the human body. I'm not really fussed as to what sport my kids choose but as long as it teaches them that being…

Hilarious as usual! I haven't been in the Men's Locker Land but spend a bit of time within the women's side of things. I walked in the other day as a lady I know from some classes was coming out of the shower. She dropped her towel and applied lotion while we chatted. Lotion to her whole body! :s

Is the right one Jodie Marsh?!?! I hate that chick with a passion, but damn she has managed to work her body into something amazing since she started her 'body building' phase.

Brilliant!! Really amusing!!

Hahahaaaa..... first time I planked in just a sports bra (at home!) I about cried!!

You have the exact same issue as me!! I am at about 20% bodyfat and am happy with that percentage everywhere except my belly. I'm starting to worry that what I think is bodyfat sitting there is really just the skin left over from pregnancies. If I bend over my tummy has a very slight hang from the skin and if I try and…

I'm contemplating a heart rate monitor or similar for Christmas to give me a better idea. I'd assume it's between 500-700 a day at the gym. Two days a week I go twice though so that day is likely over 1000. Saturdays if I go for a long hike it's likely to go well over that! :)

You're right. I'm not trying to lose weight in terms of scales, I am trying to drop bodyfat and gain lean mass though. Thanks for all the other replies. Have sent out the friend requests. :)

Oops - I say this!! 'Mummy' and 'Daddy'

Thanks for everyone's ideas. Didn't realise it would create an issue for others - I don't think 'clean' eating has a necessary advantage to weight loss (I'm not trying to lose atm) and only really used the term to refer to a healthier/less processed options than I normally use. I don't think it would be a magic cure to…
