I use the Melaleuca Access bars 15 minutes before a workout on on empty stomach. It really helps me get through a tough workout without fatigue and soreness. It contains CLA and that helps your body use fat as fuel instead of muscle. And if it helps several Olympic athletes then I am sure it can help me. And since I buy it…

I started on the treadmill to learn my pace and get my legs accustom to the movements. I still use it to increase my pace. I find if I run on the treadmill and set it for a slightly higher speed every so often , then my road running is faster. Last year when i began, I started at about 4 mile per hour and would bump it up…

If I really needed to get help in this area, I would drink a coffee with creamer. It seems to act as a laxative for me. I guess I am kind of weird, what may constipate others does the opposite for me, like beef and dairy or pizza hut.

I do good until later in the day or when it's free food at work or my kids offer to buy me dinner/lunch. Usually my weakest foods are CHicken, CHeese and CHocolate (the 3 Ch's). And when it's later in the day, I usually go to bed feeling yucky. Sometimes up half the night with an upset stomach. From my most recent splurge-…

I am 5' 2" and my current body fat is about 35%. My goal is to be between 27-29%. 147 pounds would be about 29% bf.

http://www.thekitchn.com/beautiful-beans-15-delicious-r-142106 Just a website I found. Here is something I enjoy that is great for summer weather. Cornbread salad is what it's called. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cornbread-salad-i/ I just leave out the bacon and use make up the ranch dip mix with light mayo and/or light…

I love chicken and glad you tried it first. I have thought about this idea in the past. But now that you posted your results, I will keep my chicken solid on a plate instead of a glass. Reading this thread has made me laugh so hard I cried.

From what I have read, I guess my thighs will always rubto some extent. Honestly I do not like this one bit. I have gone through too many pairs of pants. After about a month or so my workout pants start developing holes in the inner thigh area. Can someone tell me how to avoid that? I have done a web search for workout…

I'm 5'2" and I am going for more a healthy body fat percetnage range. 29 % would be good and that will be somewhere around 140 pounds. The last time I was around 130 pounds I was told I looked sickly and my current weight of about 150 I am told I am disappearing. I was 195 pounds and people wouldn't never believe me when I…

You look great! You say you just started in October. I am just an inch taller than you and am very close to your weight (154) and I still have my stomach. I started my forty pound weight loss last January. I still have some to go. My question is how did you get your stomach to shrink back that fast (3 months)?

It took 30 pounds before mine went from DD to a D. I hope the next 10 or so pounds will bring them down to a C. I haven't been a C in probably 20 years. As for rewarding myself- if I had the money and no other bills I might get some of the loose skin removed. Otherwise new clothes and hairstyle.

I am 5'2" and currently 33%bf and 154 pounds. I am aiming for a healthy body fat percentage, somewhere between 27-29% would be fine. I believe that would be around 135-140 pounds. The last time I was around 125-130, my mom thought I looked sickly and I get comments right now that I look like I am wasting away. I try to…

Great encouragement! For those wheelchair bound and/or older, it is never too late to get started.

I have a handheld and another step on. The handheld for me reads a lower body fat than the step on by just a few . I have read somewhere that it is close and with me having two separate devices, I need to average the two numbers to get a more accurate total body fat percentage. There is one you can buy that you step on and…

This fast got me started in the right direction last January. I lost 40 pounds total last year (not all during the fast). I feel it helped with cleansing my body of toxins (just prior to it a blood vessel in my eye busted and had other digestive issues). It also gave me more energy as well as losing the cravings for things…

I am enjoying reading everyone's comments and tips. I didn't mention in my earlier posts about my activity levels for this year. I originally thought if I could jog/run a mile in 12-13 minutes, that would be great and good enough. As I accomplished that I felt a need for more speed. Now I can run a mile in 10 minutes. I…

Great comments and tips. I wasn't thinking of a particular weight goal in the beginning, but then when I entered December with 40 pounds gone, I thought it would be great to say I lost 50 pounds in a year. The I realized with parties and holidays, it may be unrealistic to push it. Especially when my church will be doing…

Not sure about chaffing. I did wear thermal pants. I guess it was just strange to me how that area was so cold while the rest of my legs were warm. Currently they are not as red as earlier. I am thinking that since this is just a chunk of sagging skin/flab, that blood doesn't flow there as well and that could explain the…
