1-2 lbs a week is a healthy loss on average and something to be proud of! For those with a lot to lose, the first pounds seem to melt off at first and then slow down - its totaly normal! im not sure how great it is to keep at a low cal during the week and then make such a drastic jump in cals for one day. maybe someone…

@jen - 4 lbs aint so bad! you have been building some mean muscle lately anyway! i think its absolutely fabulous that you arent freaking out. that is what no scale month is really about - breaking that scale dependency!! @zuk - great job!!
-
i did this for june & july and found it to really help with my scale relationship! stay strong, HIDE the scale or remove it from your home completely and just concentrate on doing all the "right" things! you will love it!

a lot of people stay motivated by choosing to hide the scale that first month. i'd go even further and stay off the scale during entire stage 1 of nrol4w

HA, i hear ya sister! almost everything has a no salt or low sodium version - keep on the look out for those. I started by taking a look at my diary and pinpointing the top sodium offenders: canned soups at lunch, deli meat, dinner sausages, and tried to brainstorm less salty versions. Last week i crock potted some chicken…

IT DOES WORK. not because of magic or luck but because ITS THE SAME SCIENCE BEHIND EATING 1200 OR LESS A DAY. I am still eating a deficit from my TDEE at 1700 cals a day, its just a smaller, healthier deficit calories in < calories out = weight loss but when you make the jump your body needs time to adjust and trust that…

I went to the scooby site and here is what it says: my heart skipped a beat when i read 800 cals a day LOL!
