  • Feel free to add me too! :)
  • I have the Polar FT40 and love it! I had the Polar FT7 and upgraded about two months ago. Either are awesome and would highly recommend either!
  • Awesome! Would love to have anyone and everyone join me on this challenge! And exactly, its not too difficult, but difficult enough to get your heart rate up. And I'm super exited about possibly holding a plank for 5 mins by the end of this..... it will be difficult but such an accomplishment :)
  • I'm in.... I'm also doing a v-sit challenge this month! I'll start both tonight :)
  • Thank you for all the awesome ideas everyone :)
  • I definitely suggest getting a HRM (with a chest strap) versus the fitbit. Some people really love the fitbit, but from what I've heard and read about it, it tracks your steps taken (like a pedometer), and those arent always accurate. I have the Polar FT7 and love it!

  • I'm going to add you, and any other ladies feel free to add me! I've been engaged for a little over a year and we've finally set a date and made a deposit for the place we're having it! Our wedding date is 10/26/2013 and I'd like to lose about 55lbs by then, or more if I'm able to :) I'd be smaller than my fiance has ever…
  • How about those using the FT4, are you able to change the batteries yourself? Thanks!
  • Thank you everyone for the feedback! I'm definitely going to check out the Polar HRM's and see if I can find one thats best for me!
  • So funny, that's my wedding dress :) I bought it two years ago (2 sizes smaller than I fit into at that time). And we've now set a date of 12/13/13..... so I've got two years to lose the weight and get my butt into it! I'm hoping that I'll lose enough to have it taken in a bit too :) You look beautiful! (in both pictures,…
  • This sounds like something I'd really be interested in doing... but I feel like I join groups and end up not being able to keep up with all the posting and get discouraged. I work two jobs, and the app on my phone doesnt let me access the forums :( But I'd love to receive the general information and I'll follow it and post…
  • I've been interested in the bodybugg for a while, but never got further then trying to read about it. I'd love to see what people think of it who use it. I think if I had something to monitor the calories I burn all day long, I'd have better luck with losing weight, cause I'd know exactly what I'm burning each day rather…
  • No change for me from last week to this week (205.2lbs) :( But its ok! We had a short getaway vacation over the weekend.... could have exercised more and ate better, but we didn't and I'm not stressing about it.... we had a good time and that's all that matters :)
  • I do everything in vibrams! Love them! I've slowly increased the amount I run as well... used to hate running cause I'd always get chin splints... but with vibrams I dont get the chin splints, and my knees dont hurt after a run! I've tried wearing running shoes or workout sneakers since but they are no longer comfortable…
  • I just checked what High Impact Aerobics would have calculated as my calories burned and it was very close.... about 35 calorie higher than my heart rate monitor. That's great to know... I'll have to record it as that from now on :)
  • I'm doing the same workout! I started week 3 on Monday and I do it about 3 to 4 times a week! I log it under circuit training and enter how many calories I've burned based on my heart rate monitor. What MFP shows when I put in 30 mins, is usually more than what my heart rate monitor says, so be careful if you go with what…
  • Last year the Biggest Loser show posted recipes for what the contestants ate during the Thanksgiving episode... I printed the recipes (I'll have to find them), but I'm sure if you googled it you could find them. Most of the recipes sounded amazing and so so yummy! Instead of a whole turkey, their recipes was for a turkey…
  • I'd love to be apart of this challenge.... although we dont have a wedding date set yet, and I've got at least a year based on us wanting to get married in the cooler months of the year. But If I could get to my goal weight prior to a possible wedding date and maintain it, that would be amazing! Current Weight--205.2 Goal…
  • My honey and I met via the internet as well :) we were matched on eHarmony :) We were supposed to go sky diving for his 30th birthday, but he decided that he wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride instead... I kinda had an idea that he had plans in mind for proposing! We went on a private hot air balloon ride over Temecula…
  • Hi there! I'm a bride to be.... but we haven't set a date yet! He popped the question about 6 weeks ago. We'll either be getting married Nov 2012 to March 2013 or Nov 2013 to March 2014..... we like the cooler months :) But I'm working two jobs right now to pay off debt and save money.... so we want to wait till I'm done…
  • Weigh in - 205.2 (a 2.6lbs loss) Wooo hooo! Hope everyone has a great week!
  • I'm gonna try this on chicken :) Thanks!
  • No weight loss for me this week (207.8lbs) :( Gonna think positive! Got a lot of great feedback from my buddies on here and forgot to take into consideration that my monthly friend is visiting any day now.... I'm excited for next Sunday and hopefully I'll see a great number :) Wish me luck everyone! Was going to take…
  • Starting weight 207.8. If I can be 187.2 by Christmas that would be absolutely amazing (that would be roughly the weight I was when I met my fiance)! I'm gonna do it! Anyone please feel free to friend me.... I need all the motivation and encouragement I can get! :) And I'll try to do the same with motivating you and…
  • I'm doing Biggest Losers Cardio-Max Challenge right now, they suggest doing it for 4 to 5 days a week. I like it so far and just about every muscle is sore, so that's a good sign :)
  • No change from Oct 1st to 8th..... 207.8! Gonna try even harder over next 3 weeks :)
  • Hi there! I live in Aliso Viejo, maybe not close enough to meet for walks, but we can definitely be each others motivation and support. I've been on MFP for almost 2 months now, off and on and struggling but was recently proposed to. I have a wedding dress that I bought two years ago that I need to lose weight in order to…
  • Starting weight 207.8 (hoping for at least 5lbs this month, and would be absolutely stoked with 10lbs)
  • No change for me :( .... total of 3lbs lost in Sept. That's not too bad I guess almost 1lbs a week (which is what I had myfitnesspal set at, but Oct is a new month! I'm going to try for at least 2lbs a week :)
