  • A HRM with a chest strap is going to be alot more accurate than the macines because of the simple fact that its closer to your heart. Using a macine that had a built in HRM is going to be more accurate than a machine that doesnt but there isnt a substitute for a good HRM.
  • It depends on your body, women typically have problems staying regular so you should probly up your fiber until your having 2-3 BM's a day. That might seem a little high if your not used to having alot of fiber in your diet but thats something you should shoot for. But at least 2 BM's a day is healthy, you have to remove…

  • I had an older lady here at the credit union tell me that my butt fell off the other day. She then proceded to tell me that I'm looking great and she can tell I've lost alot of weight, but at first i was like
  • Your in if you want, you can copy and paste the weigh in chart I just posted and put your own weight in. We weigh in every monday, our goal is to lose a set amount of weight by labor day (30 pounds is what it was innitially, you'll want a lower number since we're already 4 weeks into it.) Good luck!

  • Listen, I understand what your saying and I'm having some of the same feelings recently. But its absolutely pivotal that you look at this as a lifestyle change and not just a diet. Even if you didnt lose any weight wouldnt you want to eat better and exercise just because it was good for you. You only get one body and what…
  • Just stick to your allotted calories, exercise 3 or 4 times a week and EAT BACK YOUR EXERCISE CALORIES. Lol, thats a question we see alot on here. You'll be where you want to be in no time, good luck brother.
  • If the medications is making you have to go that much its probably dehydrating your body. As long as your still having that reaction I would increase your water intake a little bit to accomadate water your loosing. Obviousy dont drink too much of you'll wipe your body's electolite stores out. The huge jump in weight loss…
  • Congrats, I'm glad you finally found what works for you. Good luck losing the rest

  • Thanks guys, I guess I just needed some more motivation. My highschool wrestling team holds open workouts during a training camp they put on every tuesday and thursday over the summer so I think i'm gonna start hitting those. That should really help with this last bit of weight. Time to break out the headgear again

  • I think I need a good home cooked meal now! :indifferent:
  • If your serious about running you need a serious pair of running shoes. I would suggest going to a store that can tell you your foot type (overpronator, neutral, supronator) and get shoes that fit and work accordingly. If you dont, and run any substantial amount throughout the week you'll end up with shin splints, sore…
  • LISTEN TO WHAT THIS GUY SAYS! I was one of those people that sent him messages asking for help and every single bit of advice has helped me get what I wanted to get. He knows what he's talking about and is really sincere about helping you when you ask for it. Just want to say thanks bro, you've already helped me…
  • I drink both but enjoy soy milk much more. Its got a sweeter taste and I'm pretty sure its better for you.
  • This is also unrelated, but I heard the other day that instead of using pepper spray you should use wasp spray because it will temporarily blind the person until they get to the ER to get treated for it. Perfectly harmless in the end though.
  • You cant look at this as a diet, it has to be a lifestyle change. If you just look at it from the perspective of being on a diet you probly wont stick with it and even if you do there's a good chance you'll just gain most or all of the weight back when you stop. Just keep working hard and counting your calories and the…
  • Lol, at least I know I'm not alone. That wall safe seems like it would be a good idea. I'd probly forget the combination after not having to use it for a while. Thats usually my luck.
  • My house hates me, I locked myself out in the cold multiple times this winter. Once I had just gotten out of the shower and was just wearing my bath robe. I'm sure the neighbors get a kick out of watching me try to break into my house multiple times a month. But ya know, someones gotta make sure the locks are foolproof.…
  • How about when you get home from a good workout at the gym and unknowingly lock your keys in your car. So now your tired, sweaty and cant get into your car, house, ect... :explode:
  • I know how you feel, I threw up in the middle of my workout last night. Several times after that as well, I think I may have food poisoning:mad: . Usually if I just have a cold I'll go for a nice slow run for a half hour or 45 minutes and work up a good sweat. That usually nixes the cold. I've also read that going to a…
