I would definitely recommend post workout. And if you aren't getting what you need in the morning, drink another then. You can add some frozen fruit and put it in the blender to make a protein smoothie in the morning.

The calorie calculator is just a guideline. You should add more calories. just make sure they are healthy calories. If you are not feeling full, you should add some negative calorie foods and make sure you are getting plenty of water all throughout the day.
