  • Thank u for ur concern Linda! I have told my cardiologist, and was given the go ahead. I see my endocrinologist in June 14th. He always has me regulate my meal insulin on my own, it's always according to the amount of carbs for each meal. So, being I exercised a whole lot yesterday and my carbs being low, I just…
  • Good morning everybody:smile: Thought I'd check in: Been doing my strength training every other day - yesterday I mowed and did yardwork for 4 hours! Burnt alot of cals - man - like over 1000! :noway: I just can't eat them back, cause I'm not really hungry. I only ate like 800-900 cals total for yesterday, I'm not gonna…
  • Smiles; I bought my coconut oil at my grocers. Spectrum Organic Virgin Coconut Oil for $11.99. 14 oz jar. I love it! I use it for cooking my cod, shark, and sometimes chicken in a skillet. I use about 3 tblsp at max. I find it gives a hint of flavor, especially in my cod and it's very pleasant. I hope that helps you. happy…
  • Have u ever tried Dr. Praegers' California Veggie burgers? The first ingredient is string beans, and then lists all kinds of veggies in them. There isn't one ingredient that is crap. Totally yummy. U can find them in most grocery stores in the frozen organic section.

  • Hmmm - clever chicken fingers idea! Thanks 4 sharing. On another note: I deleted alot of people off my friends list recently. Please please do not think it was personal. I just find it easier to blog once in a while on here. I couldn't keep up. So please do not be offended. I hope everyone enjoys the weekend!

I have been there, and the longer u procrastinate the harder it is to pick urself up and get going again. Start with ur next meal, don't even wait til tommorrow - cause in the morning u will be like -…
  • Yea saw a spike in my sugar. Think I'll just stay away from em. However, the shakes r helpful occassionally n don't get my sugars nutty.
  • Bailey - cudos for u for sticking with it! ur an inspiration :-) Question: does anyone find the Atkins bars making them crave sweet stuff? I went through 3 peanut butter cup pkgs yesterday it was horrible. I think I'm not gonna buy them anymore. They drove me crazy!

  • Hmm kale chips? I have only juiced it with a granny smith apple and a peeled whole lemon-and rather like the taste. Never just ate a piece. Funny thing - I have a bunch in the frig wrapped up and still crunchy from last week's shopping. Maybe will try baking them. I love textured foods! Thank u for the idea!

  • You know one interesting thing you could do - is log on foods you would normally eat if you weren't doing what you're doing now. Look at at the carbs, sugars etc. Like the days you ate out really be honest. I bet you're doing significantly less than your normal diet if you compare then to now. I don't even watch the…
  • You know what I do? I eat and exercise Mon-Fri. Still exercie on the weekend, but give myself permission to eat what I wish. I don't go crazy, but enjoy a burger and fries out. Or some pizza. still controlled, but no regret. Come Monday, it's back to eating only what's good for me. I still lose 1.5-2 pounds a week. Don't…
