  • I'm aiming for 130 to start, then maybe 125.
  • Youtube! :) You can search all kinds of tutorials on there. I love it. It's addicting though... so, be prepared to spend hours watching it. Btw, a lot of the drugstore makeup brands are owned by the more expensive makeup brands. I understand that L'oreal is related to Lancome... and, I have used both. I just switched to…
  • I definitely think this will help stop the madness.
  • I'm not like most victims of society..I know I'm beautiful and I shouldn't be afraid to speak out about it [/quote] You're not serious are you?
  • Just say no. Go to school. Enjoy your teenage years. Every choice you make now will affect your future.
  • Brie cheese smells like a fart. I was visiting France a few years ago & I was in the executive lounge filling my plate with little snacks. I kept smelling a fart & I thought someone was actually crop dusting the place. But, when I got closer to the cheese section I realized that it was actually the cheese. ETA: it…
  • I think they are way too expensive. I have p90X and p90X3, but I refuse to pay that much for a shake. :noway: I just make my own healthy veggie or fruit smoothies in a blender. I can add whatever I want to increase the nutritional value. For protein smoothies, I use reserveage grass fed whey. I also like some of the plant…
  • You're right about iron not being the essential vitamin for skin, hair, and nails. You're also right that pregnancy hormones aid in "glowing" skin, healthier hair, and nails. However, prenatals have other vits that help in that area. :)
  • I'm not pregnant. But, I take prenatals daily. Yes, it has helped my hair, skin, and nails. I'm not vegan or vegetarian. But, I don't eat a ton of meat. I buy them at Target. :)
  • Biking is still a good workout :) I was an all-or-nothing runner (Jogger-lol) for years. But, my joints started to pay. Now, I mix it up by walking, jogging, cycling, and doing various dvds.
  • I have heard of her & I briefly read about her. Supposedly she is in "recovery" from an eating disorder. But, I think she just traded eating disorders. Don't care what she says... it's too much sugar and potassium.
  • Food/Drink related: I have to have one glass of wine each night. It's a ritual. Anything chocolate Other: Star Trek Listening to old school music like Milli Vanilli, MC Hammer, NKOTB, 90s rap, and sooooo many more embarrassing artists. I dance to this music while I cook or clean... thank god no one but my husband sees me.…
  • The "juicer" that I use is basically a heavy duty blender. It just finely grinds the entire fruit or veggie. I'm no expert, but I think that would leave the fiber. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. I'm open to learning new things :) Now, I do have real juicer that removes the fiberous parts & I wasn't impressed. It…
  • Getting a juicer has been a game changer for me. I used to binge eat every night. Then, I started making a low cal veggie smoothie every night & I drink that regardless of whether I am hungry. It has prevented 1000+ cal binges countless times. I don't drink smoothies in place of meals. I only use it to fill my stomach at…
  • I sometimes don't say anything to people when I have noticed that they lost weight. I am always afraid that it will offend them. I like when people mention that I look like I have lost weight. But, I have known others that get offended even when they are complimented on weight loss.

  • I have a bachelor's in Psychology. I am a full time student in a graduate counseling program. My 24/7 "job" is a stay-at-home mom.
  • When I first had my son (12 years ago), I just used the recumbent bike while he napped in his bassinet next to me. As he got older, we started "explore" walking around the farm (where we lived at the time). We continued our "explorations" when we moved into town haha. I also did a lot of VHS workouts (yes, I'm old-I know…
  • I love Star Trek & I get warm, fuzzy feelings when I watch an episode. I want to go to a convention someday. Since I am a counselor-in-training, I would dress as Counselor Troi.
  • Congrats on your success! I don't think you need to lose anymore-honestly! You look fantastic!! :)
  • Glad you're back! I'm in a similar situation. At the end of my undergrad, I weighed an extra 30 pounds (approx.). Like you, I gained weight because I sought perfect grades. I'm now in a grad program & I've decided to let go of my need for perfection (not an easy task). Instead, I'm aiming for simple progress. Being a…
  • So, this is kinda goofy since I'm not in the military. But, I listen to military cadences on Spotify when I need that extra push when running. Other times, I listen to hard rock, metal, rap, and even some latin music. Just depends on the mood & my level of motivation. I can't name any songs off the top of my head. I love…
  • HAHAHA @ the OP. Arrogant much? A runner is a runner is a runner. I run outside and on the tm. I just think it's funny (insert sarcasm) that you think you are better than others.
  • Ahahahahaha!!! :drinker:
  • For me, a binge is eating nonstop for an entire day or night. I'm not hungry, but I keep going. It's like I lose all control and I am on autopilot. My stomach hurts and I am miserable... but, I keep going. Then, the next day, I "make up" for it by exercising for hours.
  • Walmart has VERY inexpensive workout clothes. Last summer, I found shorts for 3 bucks & tanks for 5 bucks. Now, they aren't the cutest---but, they get the job done. Other recommendations: TJ Maxx, Target (check the clearance section)
  • The other posters are right... surgery is the only true fix for the extra skin. Nonsurgical help includes chest/pec exercises & skin care like the others mentioned. I was going to go see a plastic surgeon, but I opted out after a lot of research. Lifts can leave pretty bad scars due to a number of factors including an…
  • I have the original and the X3. I think both are good-if you can stick with it. I have wrist joint issues, so all the push ups and pull ups are hard for me to do. I only do 1 of the cardio intense P90X3 workouts each week. Other days I do running, biking, and toning sessions.

  • I'm fluctuating between 134-136 & I'm a little over 5'2". I wear M or L in shirts, 27-29 in jeans or 6-8 in jeans.... all depending on the brand. Maxi dresses and spring dresses... usually a small.
  • Wow!! You look HOT!! Very inspirational-thanks for sharing!! :)
