if you really can't stand the thought of a gym (yet ;) ) walk...anywhere (even in place) - just start to move and eventually you will want the gym for the weights and all the other goodies it holds

Just remember it took most of us years to put the weight on...it will take time to come off. Slow and steady progress...for me this is not a diet, if I want a beer I drink one. Just always make sure I have room in the days totals for it. :smile: :drinker:

1420 without exercise --- but on my no workout days(one day a week) I am closer to 1300 17-1800 with exercise and I am usually eat between 15 and 1600 calories

I am soon to be 50 and have dropped 22 pounds in 4 months.... I lose about a pound a week. I still eat the same foods just reasonable portions and yes I do eat back a small percentage of my exercise calories. I walk every workday morning and either strength train or bike in the evening.

I was at work - we where told to turn on the TV and saw the second plane hit. Horrible day, I live in Pittsburgh and the rumors flew about the third plane being over the city. I usually just read the boards - but will throw my 2 cents on this one. while barefoot, roll a tennis ball with the foot - plus roll a frozen water bottle. That really helped me.
