If you're not taking it every day, then you're not going to get the results you need from it. If you can't take it first thing in the morning because of another medication that needs to be done on an empty stomach, then take it just before bed. Even if it's not taken three hours after and an hour before eating, you're at…

Certainly do! It's hard work, but as long as your numbers are controlled, then you can do it!

A house. No, seriously. That was my present this year. A house. It'll be my present for the next 30 years. :P

I'm just finishing the process, and this will be the third move in as many years. I get boxes off of Craigslist, from supermakets, and when I picked up my bountiful baskets.

Good for you! I would've popped her one in the mouth.

I still have my thyroid, but it definitely doesn't work as well as it should. Finally gotten to the dose of Synthroid that makes my numbers normal and I'm down almost 13 lbs. So you CAN do it! Even if it does make things a bit harder!
-
Actually, I can't look at your diary. It's not open.

I love beets. Pickled are great, and I love them roasted and tossed with a honey balsamic glaze.

Awesome!

I'm losing and I love to eat! :) Ignore the past week or so of my diary (I've been moving, so I hadn't been logging), but I'm usually pretty good about logging, and I'm always honest about what I consume!

Depends on the day, really. Most of the time, the amounts that I eat haven't changed all that much. More importantly, the quality of my health has changed (got my thyroid into a decent working condition), and I've gotten my mental health conditions (bipolar II and anxiety) under control. Having all of that worked on has…

I have some obsessive qualities, but not bad enough to be considered "OCD". And yes, it is through someone trained in the psychiatric field that tells you if you have OCD. OCD will actually disrupt your life. It's not a simple, "OMG, I have to have things in certain orders!" I like my DVDs in alphabetically order and it…

Vasectomy. Best thing ever. We have two kids and we don't want any more bio kids.

Does this mean I get to stalk you? Been following the plan and losing weight! Now, I just need to have the chance to start lifting. Sooooooooon...
-
You look AMAZING!!! I'm glad your brain is catching up because that is so fantastic!
-
Not gonna hurt you at all. I find it helpful to be more full at night because then I don't snack.
-
Crock pot lentils! Just lentils, ham hock or kielbasa, chicken broth, water and carrots. Soooo good and FILLED with protein! Freeze-able too if you make a big batch.

Congrats! Semper Fi!

Can't see your diary, so no idea.

I'll send you a request. It's sad that your wife isn't supportive. My husband's very supportive.

I am in no way a helicopter parent. I'm psyched for my daughter to go to school, I have no problem with dropping my kids of with a trusted adult/day care. But to drop my GIRL child off with some random dude and leave? No. Freaking. Way.
-
Holy crap. I can't imagine leaving my kid in a loud, busy place with a person I don't know at all.

Anyone can add me. :)

Watermelon: Puree and put into popscicle holders and freeze. Very cooling and refreshing.

Yeah, I have a major thing with texture of foods, and I can't say that raw egg seems like it would do anything but make me gag. I can't do raw oysters, and since you made the comparison... Bleck... But to each their own, and more power to you. If you like it and they're pasteurized, have at it!

I don't know if this has been brought up, but if he just go out of the Army, then he's probably having trouble adjusting to civilian life. It's hard on guys. It's depressing, but for some stupid reason guys think they have to suck it up and just ride out depression because "feelings are for sissies". Have you actually sat…

Up to $200 a week for four people. Usually it's lower than that, though. We buy our beef from family, same with pork, and we hunt so we have plenty of venison, duck, wild turkey and pheasant to use (usually- we lost a bunch this year when a freezer died). I get a lot of our fruit and veggies from bountiful baskets, so…

I'm always up the stairs of our building first because my keys are more easily accessible than his. And he's usually carrying our son, so his hands are fuller than mine making it easier for me to get the door open for him.
