It usually starts out with "SON OF *kitten*!" followed by me nuking the world with as many F-bombs as I can manage to drop.

Flip over a muffin tin, wrap bacon around the cups and then bake until crispy. Mmmm...

I don't carry anything when I go out... Because I don't ever go out... Not a safe enough neighborhood... BUT hornet spray I think is a lot cheaper, very effective and has a REALLY good distance. Just a thought.

Excessive sodium, hormonal changes and not drinking enough water all make your body retain water. It's not "bad", exactly, but it will make you fluctuate in weight. Basically, the more water you drink, the better you'll be and the less water you'll retain to get a more accurate weight reading.

Mine are less on flavor issues and more on texture: Bananas (they're great in smoothies and shakes, but not any other way) Yogurt (again, good in smoothies, but on it's own...) Eggplant Soy milk (yuck... Just... Yuck...) Oysters

One possible reason for you "not losing" inches: Are you completely accurate on how you take your measurements? Like the same cloth tape every time, on the same exact area of your body every time? I've noticed fluctuations in my inches strictly because I can't get the exact same spot on my body every time, so it's a little…

My daughter is 5, and we just got her registered to start kindergarten later this month. She's a whiz at solving puzzles and has a massively awesome memory (when she wants to lol). And she's got the most gorgeous hair. My son is three weeks away from two years old. He's trying to potty train, eats like a horse and has…

I have a goal of staying right around 1848 for calories, which is TDEE - 20% for me. That takes into account my activity level, so I don't worry about accurate calorie counts for exercise. And it seems to be working pretty well for me. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

Unless you're diabetic (or have some other medical reason to be at a very low sugar), then just hide that stupid sugar number. Fruit will always put you over.

MFP definitely sets the protein low. I manually changed mine to a 40/30/30 (carb/protein/fat) ratio, and it's a lot better! :) I also manually changed my fiber because it seemed really low.

Advocare is nothing but an MLM (multi-level marketing) scam. If you do all the other stuff that you're supposed to do while taking their supplements, you will lose weight. The products are expensive and don't do anything that diet and exercise won't do.

I haven't given anything up. But I could eat an entire slab of bacon in one sitting if it was put in front of me.

I'm not the Wolf, but hydrofluoric acid.

It's a pain in the *kitten* to get your name changed.

Ambien and/or lorazepam. Because I can never sleep on my own. Stupid anxiety disorder...

Are you seeing a therapist? I think that's the second step (you already took the first step by admitting it). I can totally understand the horrible feeling of not losing weight when your thyroid stops working- mine stopped working right after my daughter too. Are you stabilized on a synthetic thyroid hormone?

Bump? :(

Hi from a former Oregonian! :)

I usually will just eat it sprinkled with a little sea salt, but I love it in a freshly made salsa as well. And on sandwiches. And with scrambled eggs. And with tacos. And in guacamole. They are one of my favorite fruits!

I got my first at 18, and I'm 26 (ten days from being 27).

Mine is set for 135, but if I'm happy with my look and health before that, I won't worry about it.

For people who say motivation and inspiration are different, and only you can motivate yourself, I beg to differ. I think they go hand in hand. Being inspired by someone can motivate you into action. Merriam-Webster defines it to kids as "to provide with a reason for doing something". Can't put it in much simpler terms…

Yup. It's an old wives' tale. Your metabolism doesn't shut off when you sleep. Your body is still processing everything, and using calories to keep all of your internal organs functioning, and repairing your body.

I don't wear a lot of make up at the moment, but when I do, I like Hard Candy brand pressed powder, tash tint and metallic eye liner, BareMinerals' eyebrow kit, and Maybeline's Baby Lips balms.

I weigh and measure everything. I got a cheap digital scale that does ounces, grams and pounds and it makes things so easy. And I have at least three sets of measuring cups and spoons.

It's because it's high impact. It's not so hard on most smaller people, but for a heavier person, it puts a LOT of weight on the joints, so it wears them out faster and hurts a lot. I'm dealing with that myself, and had those same issues with 30DS. I stopped doing it because the high impact was just causing pain. I'm just…

I definitely don't do it for normal household chores (vacuuming, dishes, etc), but lately I've been counting it because I'm packing to move, so I'm hauling boxes around, tromping up and down stairs, up and down a step ladder... Those are the type of things I count under "cleaning".

I haven't had it cut in about 18 months. It looks really bad, too.
