Try roasted sweet potatos! Cut them up and toss with some olive oil and salt and roast them then divide them up for each day. I think they taste great cold and they give me a ton of energy!!

Try smoothies. Add Spinach or Kale, avocado and some frozen fruit. You can hardly taste the vegetables if you mix this right. Look up some recipes.

Darn. I was super interested in seeing the response myself. I am very interested in obtaining my license and have read the NASM book but have not STUDIED it as I am still deciding which program is best to sign up through. I think NASM is quite expensive but maybe it is worth the cost? Just not sure. Anyone??

I did this. I was down to 115 still with a saggy belly and tons of stretch marks. Had the skin snipped (not a full tummy tuck because my muscle structure underneath was solid. Dr. quote, not mine. :) ). Now I have a large scar but flat belly.

I also gave up dairy and had similar results. My stomach functions so much better without. I only by organic milk for my kids to eat with their cereal. My only exception to dairy is the occassional ice cream on a weekend.

I should clarify. I use Dr. Junger's Clean Book as a guideline. There are certain foods I allow that he does not, like coffee and strawberries! :wink:

I agree. I don't see anything offensive in these posts. I follow Dr. Junger's Clean book which means no dairy at all.

I would have claimed to have eaten breakfast already and then, since you were conducting a training, given it away to someone who got an answer correctly. They would be the "lucky" winner of two breakfast sandwiches that morning!

Oh my gosh!! Just got that email! "Help yourself to pastries and fruit outside Dr. O's office." At least they mentioned fruit but going to get the fruit means seeing the pastries. No thank you!
