I suffer from this also. I just try to avoid where possible the foods that irritate my stomach but when theres no avoiding it my doctor prescribed me some 'Mebevrane' (not sure thats how you spell it) but its the only thing that settles my stomach down.

I have to wash my hair but thats because I feel disguisting after a workout and couldn't possibly sleep on it - I'm a head sweater you see! Just try out what you feel comfortable , if your hair feels minging on your head wash it and if you think you can get away with it use dry shampoo (I use the volume one) gives you a…

Thanks - going to try all these stretches out, away to the doctors in an hour first to see if they can do anything to help also and what they suggest. Also bought the Walkfit that some one suggested earlier for my shoes so hopefully they will arrive soon! Determined to get back to the gym!

Well ive got a bottle ready to stick in the freezer when I get home for a start - its something! Thanks for the advice - maybe a good reason for some new sturdy shoes!
-
Can't beleive the amount of responses though - thanks! so much to take on board.....will be a busy night of internet searching and reading up more on alot of these tips. Whilst rolling my foot over a frozen bottle too I think !
-
Thanks for your advice - will try this out and hopefully if it flared up again I could then do same!
-
No worries - I used to take something along these lines but that was after my first case of PF as it really impacted on me mentally. Not on anything like that anymore, so think its just exercise and knock on from my ankle being sore again. A bit of weight loss may help - have about a stone and a half to reach my goal - its…

Never heard of this before! Will have a google and read up about it - definately worth questioning doctors on.
-
Thanks will definately take this advice on board. I'm not really a runner no, more gym classes / dance / attack etc and then just the usual day to day routine and walking. Would be good if you could send the website - worth a look at what others are usuing/wearing!
-
Yeah ill definately look up the massage and stretching techniques - definately worth a shot at the simpler things initally. Hopefully it will help it before it gets even worse. Thanks for all the support everyone :)
-
Thanks - nice to also have an input from someone who helps people with this injury. Looks like an interesting implement there - reasonable enough to try out as well! Thanks so much! :)
-
Thanks thats some really good tips there! I wasn't prepared for the pain this morning - its awful when you dont fully expect it too!
-
Good to hear that you are now having some progress with this and its manageable

Sounds like its alot of trial and error for some people. Steriod injections cleared it up for me last time but it was absolutely agony which is not good! Crocs are wonderfully comfortable im just not sure they would go very well with my day to day smart dresses etc for work! Just wish we could click our fingers and it…

That's a problem as well on day to day basis I probably don't wear the right shoes but sometimes they just so expensive. Thanks for the advice - might look into a sports massage also
-
Will have an internet search to see what these walk fits are like! worth a shot
-
That's some good tips there. Thanks though I hope they improve soon also. Thanks everyone for advice - good to know your not the only one suffering from it!
-
Yeah the walking is horrific - cancelled my gym class tonight :( just get super worked up when I feel I can't exercise. Doctor's appointment made for tomorrow morning though so will see what they say! My orignal dose of it was actually almost 3 years ago so don't think it was too soon after initial injury.

OMG! Surgery?! What did they do exactly? And more importantly - did it work?! I hope it never comes to it but at 21 when they say it always comes back its never a good thing!
-
It's horrible pain isnt it though! I've tried good instep supports also but found last time once it got a hold none of these really worked. Have you tried the sleeping brace things? That hold for support? Might try cycling - although I hate how uncomfortable they are to sit on haha. Suppose my main issue is I don't want to…

Usually go to classes like Pump and Combat but when using machines I start with 20 mins cardio (usually on crosstrainer continuely increasing level) and then move on to a variety of weights, lunges/squats with free weights, TRX, kettlebells and finish on the power plates :)
-
Going to do this when I get home......not sure my office would appreciate me bursting into lunges in a dress!
-
make sure you are doing some exercise using weights along with any cardio. And eat protein, you may find you do have some loose skin still but doing both forms of exercise will help reduce it
-
I tried a couple weight loss pills a while back and found they were total waste of time. Along with my diet and exercise I now take 3 spoons of pure aloe vera juice a day to help digestion and have a protein shake straight after gym. Really starting to see a difference.
-
think thats me added everyone - thanks :)
-
I'm from UK also - Scotland :)

I once ate a packet of brownies at almost 100 calories a piece.......needless to say I did not have the balls to admit my binge! That attitude is thankfully in the past though and log everything
-
This sounds like it would be good. Count me in!

I have this problem but have now managed to go one week without snack after dinner. I have found the only thing that works is not having the snacks in the house in the first place !
-
yum - thanks!
