thanks for the info...how do I set the tracker gizmo to show interim goals? I have them in my head, and I want to celebrate them (since it will be a long time before I reach the final goal AND I want to train myself to recognize my success as well as have success.)

I have told everybody that I will restrict some things, but I will not cut out anything. That said, I'm not in favor of pink slime. I buy beef roast and have the butcher grind it for me.

Didn't intend to be mean. It just limits how long you knosh. I'm not quite sure what being organized has to do with losing weight? Anyway, you can do this if you really want to--but it's true that it has to be FOR YOU. And, by the way, you are worth it!

I find the hardest part is just to start. So start with shoes (or whatever gear you wear for your workout) then do stretches at home so you're ready as soon as you open the door (or begin circuit). Actually, I use KB, so I do my exercise at home--no travel time involved. I do need to start walking, "but it's too hot here…

So glad I found this discussion. I recently got a 10 pound KB, and my doctor just cleared me to do as much as I want, as long as I stop when I feel I need to, So I'm psyched! I really don't care too much about how many calories just now. I need to build some strength and stamina--and maybe improve my balance.
