Every body has its own lineup of fat areas to store and then remove fat and for you I would guess your stomach is first on, last off. I also went on metformin last Thursday at the 500mg dose (tomorrow I go to 1000mg) and I am feeling something similar. Very hard to eat back the exercise calories and it always makes me want to make up the deficit with unhealthy things, like a cheeseburger. lol... Maybe it will even out as your body adjusts to the drug.

I've noticed this as well. Normally I just check that the general calories are the same and don't check the other fields but it is weird when it happens.

Swimming! I used to spend all day in the pool when I was little. I want to swim more here in TX but am scared of sunburns as there is history in my family of melanoma. :( So swimming in a shaded pool would be lovely!

As it is an adverb I am pretty sure you cannot add -ing to it... And if this is a repeat thread then I apologize, but I have only been on here a week so I have no way of knowing (that it was a horrible thing to mention.) :)

I also hula hoop. I created my own exercise and mark it at 200 cal per 30 mins since that is what several friends who hula hoop recommended. Granted, the speed at which you go makes a difference, so you might want to check with a heart monitor.
