Hi Group! Had been doing great with packing my lunch/dinner for the last 4 days until yesterday. I actually packed it, but didn't have a chance to eat ALL DAY...at one point I did grab my orange, sat on the tailgate of my truck and took a breather. HORRIFIC traffic collision with two fatalities..we were out there…

Too many ~ a processed, sodium filled 'food'. Unless you REALLY have a CRAVING..you could always Google and find out how many you can have.

I agree with everyone about getting fitted. My husband and I went to The Running Store. The trainer aka salesperson spent approximately 30 minutes with each of us. First watching us walk up and down the corridor in the shop. Then bringing out several pair of shoes to try, first walking then jogging up and down the same…

I'm 52yrs old, 5'7"....my daily allowed intake is 1400 cals. I don't eat my burned back, and most of the time I don't eat all of my 1400 cals. I'm training for a sprint tri and try to eat lean protein, veggies and complex carbs. Good Luck with your plan!

Do you have a Craigslist for your area? Make sure it has enough HP and check the weight limits. The first one we bought, my husband bottomed out (belts wouldn't go) because he surpassed the weight limit...whoops! Our current holds up to 350lbs and has 4HP.... varooooooooooooooom! Pam

Hi Everyone! So PROUD of everyone making changes, admitting to us things you normally wouldn't say in an 'outside' voice, getting up and moving!! Today is my challenge day, first day of my weekend. I usually will sneak my treats from my hiding place several times a day (isn't that horrible???) Today, I emptied it…

Have to admit, I've slacked off the last couple of days.... my allergies have been in overdrive and haven't been able to breathe. So, not wanting to have an asthma attack...I've been a slacker! Feeling better today...going to get mine in after I get home from running errands! Have a great day everyone! Pam:flowerforyou:

Do you have a Panda Express? Instead of rice or noodles, you can use fresh steamed veggies as your base. Broccoli beef, mushroom chicken, string bean chicken are all listed as "Wok Smart" on their nutritional guide. While they don't add MSG, it seems all of their sodiumcounts are on the high side. I've taken to making egg…

Great minds think alike!! My husband and I were sitting on the couch watching the Ironman from Hawaii....seeing a 65yr old man and a 58yr old woman compete made us look at each other and say "Why not?". That being said, we are looking to compete in Carlsbad Sprint in July. Maybe La Quinta in April (God help me!) I'll be…

Bump! October is MY month! Turning the ripe old age of 52! Woot!:drinker:

If I buy Halloween candy, I buy 1 bag for me, 1 bag for the kids... So this year, the kids are getting fruit snacks...no candy. I'm sure the sugar content is about the same (not to mention the high fructose corn syrup), but at least I won't be 'sneaking' out of MY mixed bag! I'm a sugar addict...I'll admit it!! I LOVE…

Former WW member.....I found the new program offered to many choices...while good in moderation, I would forget about moderation and eat til I was content! I'm doing much better sticking with the basics...lean meat, veggies, fruit and whole grains. Best of Luck!
