Saving this for later...with winter coming, my crockpot will be used a lot!

This is what I was kinda thinking and why I don't log it all the time. I was considering wearing a HRM tonight to the store to see what it read just for the hell of it. I'm fairly active through the day (I work with kids) and I'm up and down stairs 4 - 8 x a day and lifting kids all day long, always on my feet and moving…

We're having a big Halloween party this year so I'm trying to figure out what I should be. My friend want me to be 1 of the "day of the dead" with her but I haven't decided yet. Looking for ideas... I love Halloween...it's 1 of my favorite holidays!

This was 1 of the reason I decided on a change of life. I was not only scared to end up like my parents who are extrememly obese with a lot of health issues...I wanted/needed a change that for me and me only. I'd love it if my husband was on board with working out too for himself but he is lazy and doesn't want to. That's…

Alberta, Canada

Feel free to add me as well. I have 2 kids...my son is turning 12 in Dec, and my daughter is turning 7 in Dec. I'm also a home daycare provider so I'm around little ones alllllllll day long

Great work guys! This is a great post for my husband to see, maybe it'll motivate him  Great eye candy thread too!

Ha, I just realized I put the wrong date on my progress pictures...duh! I'm reposting because I'm slow at noticing this and only noticed because I used the photo in another thread. *hits head against wall*. I got the first part of my big back piece done (it's in my profile) and go again next week to hopefully finish it.…

I'm still in the process. I'm just over half way to my goal and looking forward to reaching it! I started out at about 192 and am now sitting at 160lbs. It's been slow going this last month for weight loss but I'm gaining more muscle tone. I've gone down 3-4 pant sizes and can fit into old clothes that I had in storage.

tagging this thread...want to put some good ones on my Christmas list. i have the same issue with mine falling out too.

Keep your chin up and just take 1 day at a time. As so many people on here say...it's not a race, it a life time marathon. Taking the weight off slow is better for you and easier for you to maintain in the long run. If you're working out, your body could be retaining water. Our bodies are a strange machine sometimes and…

Thanks, can't wait till it's done! My fav Kashi cereals in it are the berry one or the cinnamon...mmm mmm goodness! My day just doesn't start out right without it.
-
Greek Yogurt is THE BEST! I have it every morning with some Kashi cereal in it
-
Thanks for the kind words, I really couldn't of done it without mfp. It really helps me stay on track and be conscious about what I put into my body.

I'm 5' 2.9" tall. It all seems to gravitate around my waist and *kitten*/thigh area :frown:

Ok, I think I fixed it

I'm a SAHM and a WAHM. I run a home daycare so I'm home with kids all day long. My own kids are 6.5 and 11.5 years old but my daycare croud is 4 and under. It's hard to find the energy to workout after spending 10 hours working with kids. I try to do my strength training/cardio during nap time but that dosn't always happen…

Ugh...gawd I suck at posting pictures, lol.

I eat Kashi cereal almost every morning mixed in with my greek yogurt. I love it!

I would say you would want to eat either between your TDEE and your BMR or right around your BMR. I'm roughly the same height as you and started out a little bit heavier for weight. I'm down 27 pounds eating at my BMR which is about 1445. Sometimes I eat my exercise calories back and sometimes not. It just depends on how…

Oh ya...foiled veggies over the fire...yum! We do that quite often too.

You can cook a lot of healthy foods over the fire pit...especially if you have bush pie makers or those burger basket things. You can cook anything over a fire. I bring a lot of water, lots of veggies, eggs, yogurt and my kashi cereal, chicken, nuts, fruit, fixings for wraps, and I do eat smokies. I love a good smokie over…

Welcome! I lived close to the west coast for about 7.5 years before moving out to Alberta. Feel free to add me if you'd like, I'm always up for new friends!

I'm close but not close enough to go for walks :o( I'm in airdrie

Great post! I weigh myself daily but only record it once a week. I do daily to keep myself on track and accountable for what goes into my body. For what ever mental reason, this works for me.

I have 5 but have been tattoo'd 9 times. I'm getting 1 covered and redone in a way bigger and better design on Septl 6. It will basically go from the top of my shoulder, down 1 side of my back and around on to my hip. I can't wait, I'm so excited for it!
-
I've been on here a few months and I'm pretty regular with logging in. Anyone can feel free to add me if you'd like!
-
Oh ABSOLUTELY! I'm just over the half way mark until I reach my goal...I still have a long way to go. I'm hoping the second half will be as easy as the first.

My parents have always been grossly obese with a ton of health issues. I always said that I would shoot myself if I ever got to looking like my mother. I went home this past spring to visit them and when I got home I saw some pictures of myself that where taken during that visit and I stepped on the scale and it read…

Thanks again everyone! I'm fairly short, 5' 2.9" so a lot of my weight gravitates towards the middle of my body. I'm loving my new life change, I don't find I'm starving, and I'm actually liking to exercise...although I could be doing a bit more, I've been a bit lazy the last little while and not exercising as much as I…
