I too was depressed for a while after I finished high school, gained a bit of weight, and I know first hand this site can really help you lose the weight you want. And when you do you start to feel better about yourself, so it's really a win win! Good luck!

Welcome! I could probably use some friends to help me stay movtivated too! I'm also 21!

I think everyone should work out to music they really love! I work out listening to Eminem, new or old, when a song comes on I really like it always amps me up a little more and I get a few minutes of even better work, even if I'm near the end of my workout!

Ha sorry BCF. And from what I'm seeing I think I'll definitely continue drinking, not quite as much, but a few is fine with me!

I know exactly what you're saying, the snow is on the brink of leaving one of these days...Can't wait to crack a few open grilling up some steak and potatoes!

I'd say being fit is more important, it will give you more energy so you're able to do more throughout the day, but try switching it up everyday. If you want to lose weight, as long as you're maintaining a calorie deficit you will!

Well Wareagle I'm already built a bit bigger, broad shoulders, big chest, legs and arms, so I'm not going to be small even after I lose the weight I want to lose. I just want to make sure what I do is enough to still have a firm look.

Are you working out at all? It could be weight from muscle, but if you are drinking a lot of water that could also be it! Try weighing yourself in the morning when you wake up, that will be closest to your true weight.

Cutting out soda for me was easily the hardest part, I tend to always be drinking something and only water got kind of old! I used Mio quite a bit, which made it a lot less boring! I know part of my success definitely came from quitting soda!
