  • I would not exercise hard a light yoga or pilates is fine. A walk should be fine - just don't over exert just because you are taking in about 800-1000cal in a day which in on the lower side. On day 3 you may want to rest and take it easy and not exert at all, see how your body feels - good luck let me know how you feel. It…

  • Thanks for the post - I was a competitive gymnast and staved myself and binged and purge my high school years and early 20s. I have a degree in human nutrition to learn how to fuel my body properly. I think eating 800-1000 is way low and if I saw that I would be telling that person to eat more. I think people think they…
  • There are plenty of people out there that would be considered "skinny fat". They eat and maintain their weight, but do not exercise and you can tell. Just because they are skinny doesn't mean they look good. You can also consume less calories, but also make a workout routine where you are putting in 10 minutes at a time.…
  • I love, love Bikram yoga and you can definitely burn anywhere from 500-1000 calories a session...you can't say that for a few miles of running :)

  • I did my research before I chose the 2 - I have a degree in Human Nutrition and wanted the best nutrition - cost aside and compare the nutrition. Hebalife is made with soy - and doing more research some of the shakes are made with Non GMO and GMO soy - which means it is genetically modified organism - where the product has…
  • I paired Insanity with Shakeology and had a great success - it really helped me with my cravings - good luck!!! Add me if you would like too
  • Thought I would throw this out there too - I am a Beachbody coach as well with a degree in human nutrition. I personally started my journey with Shakeology and Insanity. It has almost been a year and I can honestly say I have met some great people and have had a great time seeing people transform their live. Shakeology has…
  • Thanks for sharing!!! Great story - it is nice to enjoy the food we eat, but you can find recipes to make healthy food taste really good! Glad Dad is OK too! - keep up the great job!!
  • The avocado really has helped. It is a vegan protein (sprouted brown rice) and can get gritty. This made it nice and creamy and I kept it vegan people will add yogurt. It is great after a workout - nice and refreshing, but I totally agree with getting sick of it. I crave the chocolate flavor. It is nice to have on hand to…
  • Chocolate and PB is the best I could eat this all day everyday. It is my guilty pleasure and it's so good for me :)
  • HIIT is High Intensity Interval Training - bring your heart rate up and go at a high pace for a minute then bring it down for 30 seconds then repeat. I personally enjoyed my Insanity and Turbo Fire DVD at home they were really effective and came with schedules to follow - both have HIIT in them - Good luck!!
  • Hi my name is Jill - I have completed Insanity 2x and now do Turbo Fire/Insanity hybrid. This program is amazing and I wish you all starting out and veterans to Insanity the best of luck! The way to get through this program is to think about your end result - a stronger, healthy body!!! Dig Deeper everyone
  • These are so yummy one of my favorites - quinoa and black bean lettuce wraps http://keepyourdietreal.com/food/appetizerssnacks/quinoa-and-black-bean-lettuce-wraps/ Here is another salad that I love - I use feta instead of goat cheese http://www.healthygreenkitchen.com/strawberry-almond-and-goat-cheese-salad.html
  • I love an apple or a few pieces of sliced mango, but I love pistachios and almonds and will grab a handful and this usually will tide me over. Low-fat string cheese does the trick sometimes too - 50 cal in one!!! Good luck -
  • I love all the nuts there - great combination - pumpkin seeds are really yummy!!
  • You may want to get yourself a heart rate monitor - there are ones with a strap and without and this will also calculate calories too. I have a lot of people who love these. Sportline makes a good one for women. Good luck
