Usually 4 -16.9oz of bottled water a day. When I drink brewed green tea, 16-32oz, I include that in my water count, as well.

Big difference-congrats!

That's awesome that you got to actually meet your virtual workout partner. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. My best friend lives in Marin County and that whole area is just beautiful and I love it. I hope to visit Lake Tahoe next visit out there :).

I think a woman should describe herself in whatever way she sees fit, whatever makes her feel good about herself. BUT, if you are an unhealthy weight and you're choosing not to become healthy because of your "curves" or whatever you want to call it, then that's an issue. It's the same as with any other reason/excuse to not…

That's awesome! And such a great feeling when people acknowledge your hard work!

You need to be aware of your surroundings(keep your head up) when walking late at night, preferably in a well lit area. Talking on the phone could end up being a distraction. Be careful...

I'm 5'2.5 and I went from a size 20 in April to a 10/12 currently.

Yasso frozen Greek Yogurt bars are only 70 calories and have 6 grams of protein. They have strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry flavors. They are delicious and filling!

I think how you word something makes all the difference...and labeling a meal or a day as a "cheat" can be counter productive in my opinion. I eat healthy most of the time, but I still eat cookies on occasion, pasta on occasion, etc...I've found healthier ways to make these items so that they are still delicious, but…

This. A high protein diet, eating .5-1 gram of protein per pound of weight, actually aids in weight loss because since it's harder to digest, your body works harder, using more calories. Also the reason why it makes you feel fuller. High fiber foods also make you feel fuller and it's recommended women get around 25 grams a…

Your weight fluctuates several times during the day and several times a week, which is why you WILL go crazy weighing yourself everyday. Fluctuations are normal. If you're eating within your calorie goal, watching your sodium, drinking plenty of water, and exercising then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Weigh…

Someone may have already stated this, but the man who sent the email does not know her or her situation. He just assumed the news anchor was living an unhealthy lifestyle. She's a triathlete AND she has thyroid issues. People need to stop assuming what did or didn't make someone obese...and stop assuming someone is just…

And when you say lift "heavy"(I hear this a lot), how heavy are we talking? What weights did you start with and what are you lifting now, if you don't mind me asking?

Damn. Nice *kitten*.

Congrats on logging for a whole year! I have noticed people who want support, but don't seem to want to give it in return. This pal thing is supposed to be a two way street, so find people who will give you the support you need and want. Again, congrats!

Great info. This explains a lot. Thanks!

It is quite vexing, isn't it? I had a 9 month food "baby" 5 1/2 months ago and now it looks about 4,5 months ;). But, my belly still looks like this tumor attached to my body. Thank goodness with clothes it's well hidden, but it will be nice when it's actually gone or mostly gone...

I posted the wrong link, although the above link gives great tips on how to reduce sodium. This link tells you why you should reduce your sodium. http://www.prevention.com/node/26225

I track it because of water retention and because, in general, it's just bad for you in high quantities. After reading this article recently, I changed my daily sodium goal to 1500mg. http://www.prevention.com/health/health-concerns/how-kick-salt-habit?page=2 Edited: Wrong link, although the above link gives great tips to…

I love this post! And I think it's great you're easing up on yourself, that could make all the difference. It sounds like you are living a very healthy and active lifestyle, and that's all we can do. You have accomplished a lot and you should be very proud of yourself. Well done!
