  • So amazing. And you should be SUPER proud of your hard work! It is not easy to take it off but it is SO easy to put it on. Rock on lady (:
  • I agree!!! Well done doll <3
  • I stay away from the scale at that point in time as well. Why bother getting upset when there is nothing you can do about it? I've always wondered what fitness and figure athletes do...maybe they are so lean they don't get their cycles?
  • I'm with you! Bring on the hair
  • JUST DO IT. Gaining ten pounds is far less detrimental than sucking on cancer sticks. Munch baby carrots. Chew gum. Stay away from smokers. Post the "24 hours/2 days/1 week, etc after quitting smoking" health sheet on your fridge, post a picture... of smokers lungs...WHATEVER IT TAKES to motivate you. Get through the first…
  • I am doing the "Tough Mountain Challenge" in July at Sunday River
  • HIIT will def help. Start with a 2:1 ratio, eg run all out for 30 seconds, walk for 1 minute. You'll be surprised how much faster you get!
  • Very interesting and thanks for sharing. I could go off on a tangent about this topic but let me just say this-America is supposed to be the greatest nation in the world and we have about 13 million American children live in families with incomes below the federal poverty level. Do you think these parents can afford to…
  • So proud to be your friend. You are doing A*M*A*Z*I*N*G!!!
  • Haha, I would have BF a LOT longer too. I loved those extra calories :)
  • I would imagine this to happen, as heart rate typically increases during times of anxiety...
  • The OP said "over the holidays". From Thanksgiving to New Years is the "holiday season". You completely ignored the spirit of her post and slapped her in the proverbial face. This site is to ENCOURAGE others, not pronounce yourself as "holier than thou". Get over yourself, Elizabeth.
  • Apparently YOU have never known anyone with an eating disorder. Many of us DON'T have the willpower. And your comment was kind of rude. Congrats to the original poster for enjoying the holiday indulgences and not fretting about a few pounds We have to live our lives and how awesome is it that you did so and still realized…
  • Great job! You obviously took control of your life and are reaping the rewards of your HARD WORK and dedication! Well done! ~Rochelle
  • I too am a sugar junkie!!! I cannot even start because I can't stop. Shakeology has helped me but it is pricey. My other secret is sugar free chocolate pudding and cool whip free! Tastes sweet but hardly any sugar at all :)
  • I have not done TJ but I did ChaLEAN Extreme and had great results (see my pics!) I really like Chalene Johnson-I think she is a great motivator. My friend Chauncey just got the dvd's and she has been doing amazing. She is on my friends list-maybe you could message her?
  • I had the same concerns. And I know for a fact you need to work to keep the muscle you've built. So I would go ahead and do the hybrid. OR make sure you do some other type of strength training while you are doing TurboFire. That's my advice.
  • Um, yeah. I'd agree. You should have asked him to train with you
  • Oh don't be sorry! I think your story is helpful for someone who might *think* they have PPD to realize how serious it can become. You are NOT yourself. You have NO control over your thoghts and emotions. It's crazy. And I agree-if you even think you have it, seek help. It was SO hard for me to admit I wasn't well. I…

  • I agree with weights first, then cardio. Of course there will always be differing opinions, even amongst the professionals, but your body is NOT going to burn lean tissue before fat. Your concerns about burning lean tissue would be valid if you didn't have any fat to burn...
  • I also agree with you! I wasn't "tricked" into it by any means but of course it was presented to me in the best light possible. And I have the same thing happen to me with other Coaches pursuing me but I have actually made some great friends that way who I can talk to about the programs and whatever else they are doing.…
  • Hahahahahahaha, maybe we could make a video! Beachbody Coaches gone WiLd!!!!! hahahahaha, I love it!
  • Actually I think I can and I did. I don't think everything BB does is right. For example, they *say* you can start your own business for just $14.95 a month but there is the hidden little issue of having to maintain a certain amount of "sales" each month, as you just stated. . All big companies are going to have their…
  • I agree. ChaLEAN Extreme sounds like the right program for you. In two of the workouts (Burn Intervals and Burn It Off) there are some plyometrics, but there is also a low impact option and someone who is modeling that for you. TurboJam is dancy and TurboFire is CRAZY! (fun, but crazy) ChaLEAN Extreme focuses a lot on…
  • I agree-it's too bad Beachbody gets a bad reputation because of people who behave that way. I like their programs, the Coach discount and a lot of the people I have met through BB. But I know a lot of "Coaches" who are just in it for the money and I too find them annoying :ohwell: Beachbody's philosophy is that people are…
  • From what I have read (and I have done a LOT of reading lately) Stevia is actually the sweetner of choice, because it comes from a natural source and is not man made like the other sweetners you've mentioned. It is absolutely what I use.
  • This forum is AWESOME! Lots of support here! Feel free to add me
  • http://www.titlenine.com/category/swim/bikini-and-tankini-swimwear.do?nType=1 OR www.athleta.com I want an athletic suit. 2 piece. 1. I now consider myself an athlete. I train hard and it shows. 2. I want a suit my child cannot pull off. Victoria's Secret just ain't gonna cut it  Keep it up ladies!
  • I did a LOT of research and talked with my fitness friends and decided on the Polar F7. Polar has been around for a long time, it was reasonable (around $100), has the chest strap (which is FAR more comfotable than I anticipated) and is quite easy to use!
  • Make sure you adjust your settings, as when you lose weight, you have a lower caloric need. but also, it could be that eating too FEW calories might be contributing! I can't see your diary but those would be the first two things I'd tinker with... :blushing:
