ohhh good luck with that  is P90x a similar thing to insanity or is it different? I get confused between them all!

Ohhh I had forgotten about this thread & then this evening whilst feeling a little blue I remembered about it & had a read & now I feel inspired again  such a great post thanks @mamarundrc for this fab idea <3

Push as hard as you can, feel proud of the effort you've put in & keep challenging yourself  No one said you had to smash every goal/challenge first time, but it's the determination that counts <3

I have just changed my goal on the spread sheet, as I miss calculated previously & didn't realise  I was also having a nose at everyone's losses to date & there's some hard work showing up in those numbers, which is very inspiring to see. Good work to all who are continuing this journey B) <3

I'm thinking of doing an exercise challenge for week 4 to warm me up for the challenge I've set myself in February: Squats 30 Sit-ups 20 Push-Ups 7 Plank 30secs All this each day for 6 days! Also to continue to drink plenty of water each day!

I get the lack of motivation, I call it the 3 week blues. I am able to stay motivated and commited with excitment & gusto for 2 weeks, but then when I start getting tired & life starts getting in the way I start to faulter. This is why I love the group challenges, they help keep me focused & hold me accountable

Eeeek! Weigh in day tomorrow, for me! I just hope that I've lost something or maintained, as I've not eaten the cleanest the last few days, but have tried to stick as close as I can to my calories. Yes @ravenzwart No week 3 challenge. Mine is to make sure I drink my 8 glasses of water a day.

I'm going to try again with running this year! I tried a few years back, doing the C25K & ran a 5K which I loved (it was a Color Run). I then started uni & all good intentions were lost/put on hold, I did do another Color Run last year too, but with no training. I'm signing up again this year, so once the weather gets less…

NSV: I have reached my 100 miles in January goal yesterday! I'm so happy & proud of myself for actually achieving this goal & ahead of time. Last time I attempted to get 100 miles in a month I fell short by 20-30 miles if I remember correctly. Having my fitbit has really helped keep me motivated, each and…

-
After a cold evening walk today, I'm now only 8miles away from hitting the goal of 100 miles for January  I'm so happy that I will actually meet this goal, as I've never managed it before!
-
Hi & Welcome  Feel free to join us in our challenges; the more the merrier & hopefully the more motivating it will all be
-
I like this & agree, it's what I strive to do... but sometimes that I give that damn number too much power! A challenge for the next couple of months I think... to not give a number so much power & to work on being fitter & healthier

Today has been a tough day. I got my 4 miles in (10K steps) but it was not easy! My body feels tired & like I'm coming down with something, but I hope I'm not! I hope everyone else is having a healthy & active day x
-
Hey guys, nice to see some new faces here  I love my fitbit, it does keep me motivated. Please all feel free to join in on any challenges whenever you feel ready x
-
My week is tiring! Between work, uni & that fact I've walked 6 miles each day since Monday! Having a meal out Saturday for my partners birthday (Wagamama's) so trying my best to get plenty of exercise in this week. I'm mindful that this coming week, is going to be difficult to keep my motivation and good intentions up...…

Wow well done you. I hope you're not hurt too badly x

If you are working out more, you need to make sure you're drinking lots of water. I always find my weight loss halts when I ramp up exercise, but that's because your body is building muscle which weighs more than fat, but in the long run will help you lose fat weight quicker  so don't lose heart
-
Welcome to the group hun, feel free to join in or add yourself to any challenges. All are welcome x

Good work :D

I'm doing 2 for dinner today  Instead of going out for burger & chips. I'm making homemade burgers, with sweet potato wedges & carrots
-
I'm newish to this running/jogging, did C25K a couple of years back & a couple of 5K's, want to try to get back into it, to see if I can love it. So I'm looking for advice please: What are a good pair of running trainers/shoes?
-
Good work! I'm glad you're finding this group useful

I'm 33, living in North Wales, UK. I have recently become more active again on MFP, been on here for a few years. I did really well in the past, until I started my uni course, along with a full time job. I am trying my best to find some balance in life now, I've got 6 months or so left on my course. I log everyday & try to…
