So today in work after lunch when I was already full, I craved chocolate, luckily I don't take money to work & only have the food I take in myself to eat, otherwise I may have caved! The craving didn't last long & I was busy in work so I forgot about it & successfully managed to turn down a chocolate off a work mate later…

So how's everyone getting on? I'm so close to caving in today, but I'm trying to fill up on good foods so that I'm not hungry. What makes it harder is reading other peoples diaries & their treats they're eating, oh it's so cruel!!! MUST STAY STRONG! :grumble:

Wow excellent work guys  so inspiring & great to see you working together on it. Makes it a lot easier Thanks for sharing

Ok gonna throw this out there. MFP states it works on NET calories so it's what you are netting each day that counts so if you are not exercising then your goal you have set using the settings will give you a minimum of 3,500 calories deficit meaning you will lose a pound a week (unless you've chosen 2lbs a week).…

Wow that's a fab weightloss. I have to admit my weightloss is slow & steady (although I didn't have a huge amount to lose). I have most definitely noticed a massive change in my fitness level. But I'm guessing it depends on how much exercise you do  I've been doing some form of exxercise 6days out of 7 I'm loving…

North Wales here

Day 3 complete & still no junk food woo hoo. I did fancy chocolate earlier (it's my usual Friday treat) but that soon passed

Water mainly, occasionally I'll have hot water, lemon & honey or a herbal tea. Since giving up smoking I've gone off tea & coffee (although I do like a cheeky little baileys coffee once in a while)

Yeah. I think once you get 'comfortable' you stop noticing things like the extra pound or two here & there as the person your with loves you & makes you feel good. Plus in my case instead of going out for meals I would always cook a 'treat' meal for us once a week. Between the relationship & my desk job I gained nearly…

Brilliant work in such a short space of time too. You look like a different person - fab

Day 2 - Even though I had a stressful afternoon in work, I didn't crave anything bad - this is shocking to me! I'm keeping myself satisfied with healthy foods & this seems to be working just grand Hope everyone else is doing well

I would say play by ear & listen to your body. Sometimes I walk if I feel up to it, just at a more leisurely pace. Other rest days I feel so draied & tired that I literally just rest  Just don't over do it & always listen to your body
-
Working through soreness helps you, but yes you should have at least 1 rest day a week, Jillian Michaels recommends 2 rest days on her website. Your body needs time to heal too

I'm 5'3" & my goal weight is 126lbs I was happy & comfortable at that last time I was there. Ideally I'd like to be 120lbs but as I'm pear shaped my chest can appear too boney so I'll play it by ear closer to that weight, as I don't want to look unhealthy or ill. For now though I'd like to get out of the 140's & into the…

Birth Control Pills don't make you gain weight, giving in to the hormonal cravings does!!! Wow I hope people don't follow this, like previously stated gluten is only bad if you're intolerant to it. Just too many holes & no proof to back any of it up!

Brilliant work Nikki  I had a good day, I didn't crave anything yesterday, but I nearly slipped up when offered a biscuit, but as I was about to take one I remembered & was like no I'm not having one! oppsss At least I didn't pick it up. hehe  Hope everyone else has found lots of healthy alternatives :)

Good luck to all starting this challenge tomorrow, stay strong & remember whenever you're tempted by junk food , just remember why you're doing this.... For a sexy, fit & healthy body

thanks for the replies. yeah I guess I'll give making it a go argh! heh:tongue:

I thought it would be a good idea to share snack ideas, so that we're not too focussed on what we can't have, but all the good things we can have & maybe give each other something new to try  For me the snacks I eat can be my downfall, as it's all too easy to pick junk food, but if you have any other food ideas or…

yeah if you are following MFP calories you should be Netting what ever is recommended for you. If your settings on MFP have you at 1,200 cals a day, your net should be 1,200 cals a day, regardless of how much exercise you do. If you do a search on MFP there are loads of useful posts that may explain it a lot better than I…

^This^ plus I have always been told by professionals that exercising everyday is not good for the body, you should have 1 or 2 rest days a week, to give the body a chance to repair itself, so it can become stronger & better
-
I only have that problem on days like today were I do lots of execise that eating my net calories is difficult, but it's always good to have some in reserve for rest day I think anyway
-
tell me about it, it's confusing I know I asked my friends on here yesterday & have decided to work to my TDEE at a set number of cals per day, as this already accounts for your exercise. MFP works it out so that if you exercise you get more cals to make up to the right net number of cals. Basically I was advised to pick…

Unless you have an allergy to fructose, there's not too much wrong with them, granted making your own is always better, but it's not that bad. Plus the mail claim everything is bad for you...
-
I won't comment on people's food diaries if they are not open, as I don't know how healthy/unhealthy there day has been - they may have eaten all junk or only eaten 100 cals.
-
OMG you're all so cruel Now I just want lots & lots of yummy naughty food  That peanut butter cookie dough & the chocolate lasagna look like sex on a plate nom nom
-
Wow great progress that's brilliant
