wow...have to agree that was a little bit of a bummer...it just made me want to lose 10 more lbs than i originally thought :(
-
i find it much easier to track while logging...i notice if i don't log even for a few days my calories slowing increase...i didn't read what anyone else wrote (so i may be repeating others) but i def think this website helps me to be aware of what and how much i am consuming. I have become much more aware of portion size…

I like #1 :)
-
Thats a good idea!!! i def think i will start logging them in my notes section....thank you so much for the idea
-
I considered getting a fitbit just because it can be synced with my fitness pal... but those things are crazy expensive...if i stick with using this one for a while i figure then i will reward myself by upgrading....so does the fit bit automatically adjust your calories according to your activity level?
-
You look fabulous!!!!!!

i guess that makes me think of another question...what is a recommended sugar intake for the day...i know MFP has a automatic one, but is that correct?
-
Hmmm...really never checked the sugar...ill have to check that...i do find that i go over/or go very close to my sugar a lot of days
-
I have the same problem...i do agree that it greatly helps to go to the womens section to buy pants (especially shorts) You will notice a big difference in the cut of pants. I am def going to have to try to work out my lower half also (think im gonna start using my eliptical more often and see if it helps) Thanks so much…

Butt and thighs :(

@ tamishumate- u look great congrats on ur work!!!!! Thanks so much for ur input...this is exactly what i was afraid of, your body adjusts to this calorie intake. Oh well it is what it is....when you reached your goal did you up your calories at all for a period of time? If you did, did you do it gradually or as a jump? I…

feel free to add me....i am almost at my weight loss goal...6lbs more to go, but im sure i will be tracking for quite a while after just to maintain. I work at an eye dr and am pretty much there most of the time and also have a 7 year old daughter that takes up all of my time not at work, so i understand no time to plan…

Ok..so my question is a little off topic but i cannot figure out how to post a topic (if someone can help me with that it would be great) i am on a 1200 calorie diet, have been for some time and i am 6lbs from my goal weight. What do i do to work up to maintain without starting to gain weight....it seems if i slip up on…
-
Bump....i have the same question
-
oh yeah...and if you really dont want to eat any more calories...brush your teeth with really minty tooth paste and drink water...it really seems to health...i think it psychological  just my guess
-
Try popcorn, edamames, baked chips or lowfat/double churned icecream (in portion), yogurt (frozen too)...just some ideas...try to just incorporate it in you daily goal and if u dont use them, no big deal.....
-
i agree that you can have anything in moderation....i also agree that is is better to eat several smaller meals a day than all your calories at one time, of course there are days that you have one large meal and and then watch calories for the rest of day. But i wouldnt advice that on a regular basis. I believe your body…
-
sounds about right....if i do the math. I think your BRM is pretty close....see what anyone else says  Hope that was helpful
-
did you check the average that is put on here...and compare it to what your HRM says...espcially if is an inexpensive one.
-
no prob. thanks for the tip about washing the noodles...lol...that would of been a major turn off before even trying them :) def check out her website...it will get you started http://www.hungrygirl.com/
-
Im not sure about the flavoring but i do have a question about the noodles... i recently came acrossed these noodles myself. I have not tried them yet because i am having a hard time finding them in stores. Im hoping they are going to be in the asian market i am going to this weekend, but anyway :) what do you think about…

Ok... so after reading some other posts... i thought id mention im sorry if my post came off a little harsh i didnt mean it that way...it just is upsetting to hear people starving themselves
-
Wow!! No i totally agree... we are on here to be healthy not to track starving ourself... no one should go under 1200 cal...its not healthy.
-
i agree with choosing a shot over a glass of wine....i have bacardi and diet...it under 60 cals...you can have 2 for the calories of most glasses of wine :) and i also snack on the celery with others wings :) and have maybe 1-2 wings...if i have been good that day. It def helps to find out where you are going and try to…

hey im back to trying to track...i got off track during the holidays and def could use some help staying motivated. Im trying to lose my last 10lbs...was almost there and then went completely off the last month or so. Feel free to add me :)
-
i weigh myself almost every morning, i find i am more motiviated to stay on track during the day if i do. But i try not to weigh myself too much during the holidays because it always goes up...i wait for it to be over and then get back on schedule :)
-
also another suggestion is look into the hungry girl...she has a web page and show on the food network on sunday mornings. She shows some great options for making a meal with less calories but still good flavor, and filling!!!

I completely agree but i know it gets easier....im just starting to track my food again...i slacked off due to the holiday and now i feel like im starving. I usually eat 1200cal a day, but its only 4:30pm and i only have 290cal left. I found that if i slowly down my calories each day its a little easier, and just the act…
