  • I was kinda shocked when I opened this thread. I remember reading this back in April of 2012 and thinking there is NO WAY I would ever get rid of my apple. Big gut for life! But I did it :) Well I have excess skin issues (not so much from being heavy but three ginormous babies) but it is a fraction of what it was! I can't…
  • I have another 16lbs to go. I will get there eventually. I just started a new more intense workout so maybe that will help?
  • I have done WW several times over the last 10 or more years. I would lose the weight, get annoyed or fed up keeping track of points and gain it all back again. Came here at the end of April...heading towards 60lbs lost since then (I lost 10lbs before I started tracking weight on here). I was never even close to having that…
  • I think it would be harder to "just get over" because this happened in the building you live in...in your space. This wasn't some gym somewhere else. I would think the element of it happening so close to your personal space unnerving. Knowing that someone would take something that quick...what else would they do? It may be…
  • Could you maybe talk to his therapist? Explain how he needs to work on this subject and stop sabotaging you? I know it may seem trivial to mention to a therapist but your health and well being is extremely important. You have kids...you need to be healthy for them. I too have a husband with a chronic health condition and I…
  • Believe me when I say in a few months you will look back at him and your relationship and wonder what the heck you stuck around for so long ( I had a similar person who was in my life many moons ago). Go be fabulous and enjoy your life...it is too damn short to waste it on someone who doesn't appreciate you! :)
  • Thank you SO much. I am enjoying one right now :) I love it!
  • Water, water and more water. I gained 8 lbs of bloat on Sunday. By today I was back down to normal and actually lost another 1.6lbs! So I am sticking with the crazy amounts of water lol. Oh and a little chocolate or other treat is no biggie. I just track it and move on :)
  • I also suggest an allergy test. I took my son who was only 2 at the time to a natropath. She did some allergy testing and we discovered he had some pretty severe food intolerances. Once we removed them it literally changed his life. No more chronic runny nose, congestion, skin rash, behavioral outbursts and aggression. He…
  • I held on to water like crazy when I started (and I was eating clean and working out like crazy!). Once a week or so went by the scale started moving big time. Don't give up. I know it will move for you too :) Don't forget to take measurements. They kept me sane and not disappointed when the scale said nothing.
  • I have been trying it before the workouts but I sweat right through it...I tend to go full out when I work out. I have heard about cornstarch. Maybe I will try that this week?
  • I have had three c-sections....and three babies over 10lbs, the biggest being over 11lbs. Needless to say my stomach is toast. Between the excess skin, horrible stretch marks and the dreaded "hanging pooch" it will probably never be flat no matter how hard I work without surgery. I think I am ok with that as long as I am…
  • Me too! Quick, easy and healthy!
  • I don't get it. Looked at your photos and you just look like a very fit and toned person? If you were a walking skeleton then I could see folks commenting out of true concern but you look great!
  • I am currently still breastfeeding my almost 10 month old. I aim for 1900 calories a day (I was eating a lot less and actually lost nothing until I ate more!). I also walk very briskly for 5.5 to 9km a day and just started adding the 30 Day Shred this morning for the next month. To be honest some days I find it hard to eat…
