Thanks for all the advice you guys! I did make up a meal plan for the week, and that seems to be going real good. I eat healthy at work(since we have the menu's set forth already and my clients are on an 1800 cal a day diet...) I've been working out on my Wii Fit Plus for the last few days and am absolutely in love! I just…

Thanks! I know I've had family members who have Kidney Problems so I should probably watch just to be safe. So far so good today. Not sure if you can answer, but do you know if Kidney Stones are a hereditary problem?
-
I am routinely over on my protein and calcium, but never by much. I think I had read about the Kidney stones before. It's definitely hard NOT to eat more that my allowed protein.

I totally say the Wii Fit Balance Board is worth it. There is soooo much you can do to change up your routine. I haven't tried any of the games on your list. I have played Just Dance, and that's fun, but doesn't burn a whole lot. Also, the Wii Sports Resort has some good games that get you moving and going.

I agree with angel. You should be fine for just one day. Something else that was suggested to me, if you're really low, drink some tomato/veggie juice. That way you get the calories but don't have to worry about eating if you're not hungry.

I have the same problem! Someone suggested to me to find something else to do. Write a blog, knit, read, scrapbook, write...ANYTHING. Just to get your mind off of food. And if you do feel like you really need something, have some fruit/vegetables, or something else low-calorie. I try to have the 100 calorie packs around,…

I did try Sparkpeople a while ago, but never really got into it. I love MFP, just to have something on the side would be nice. I'm taking a lot of advice I've gotten on this post and running with it, so hopefully I can lose some more of this weight!

I'm in Minnesota..It does get colder and snowier than that! lol I also live in the middle of nowhere, where our roads don't get plowed until 3:30pm, and by that time I'm at work. I know it sounds like a lot of excuses, and it possibly is. But by this spring I'll get my butt out there in the wee-morning hours and run.
-
Ugh...I am SOOOO not a runner...YET. I'm working on it, but as of right now, couldn't happen! Not to mention we've gotten probably over a foot of snow in the last few days!

I know! It's ridiculous that the high-fat/tasty/easy/quick foods are so cheap and then the healthy foods are so expensive. They wonder why America is so fat!

How much??? LOL

I usually don't end up making different meals for everyone, but the meals I end up making could/should be WAY better.

I think I just got the Cooking Light magazine as a free trial...I kinda like it. I might do the full year subscription.

Thanks everyone! I know I don't NEED a plan/program, and I've been doing pretty good. It just get's difficult with a 1 year old and a husband! My son NEEDS to gain weight, I NEED to lose weight, and my husband is pretty good where he's at. Three completely different needs in one house...OY! It would be nice to have my own…

I LOVE Just Dance. I got it for Christmas and can't get enough. I've never tried Biggest Loser so I can't speak on their behalf, but Just Dance is ton-o-fun

Not personally, but I did have a client that is on Wellbutrin for depresesion AND because it helps to lose weight. When he moved into the home, he was well over 487lbs. Not sure if it's JUST the Wellbutrin, and I'm sure it's not, as he's been eating a lot healthier and actually moving on a daily basis, but last I checked…

Hey there. I know how you feel...I will add you now and hopefully we will both achieve our goals!
-
Go you!!! I've been overweight pretty much my whole life and am sick of it! I also dream of being thin and sexy...this is our year!!!
-
I'm with ya! I got married last summer, at my highest weight of 267(not including pregnancy weight) and HATE the way I looked in my pictures. I felt pretty, but looking at the pictures now....yuck! We plan on doing a renewal at some point, and I don't want to look like that again! I'll friend you!

I think MFP is a little more accurate as it takes into account your weight(different weights burn different amounts of calories). And as far as eating your calories...YES. You should be eating what you burn or else you end up with a defficet. Personally, it's nice to be under my calories, but you don't want to be too far…

Sexy Mama!!!

Thank you. Not to play a pity party, but I also work full-time. It's super hard finding time to work out, but I NEED to do it.
-
That's what caught me. That seems to me like a little too much weight to be considered a healthy weight loss.

I have the Mirena and am in LOVE with it. I know a lot of people that have had problems with it though. Personally, I would not suggest the ring. I got pregnant while using it(and yes, I was using it correctly) as did a friend of mine. I've heard the patch can be pretty good, or Implanon(I think that's what it's called).…

My new years resolutions are... 1) Keep on track. I've neglected MFP for the last few months, and really need to get my butt into gear to reach my goals. 2) Start running. I've been inspired by another MFP person to start running. I want to work up to it, and by the spring/summer I want to go running every morning. 3) Cut…

Don't worry about it! We all have setbacks. Yesterday, I ate all of my allowed calories just in my lunch!(Darn Chinese food!) I didn't let it get me down, I just realized that "accidents happen" and tomorrow is another day. My advice to you, for the rest of the day, make healthy choices. You'll feel better soon.

I haven't tried any others, but I like 10 Minute Solution, KnockOut Body. Five different work outs, and mine came with wrist weights.

Done my dear!!!

WooHoo!!! That is wonderful. I can't wait til I lose my first 10lbs. Never sell yourself short on how many pounds you loose. 13 pounds is amazing!
