The FDA gave a first round approval to a new drug called "Contrave" what
is interesting is that it has Wellbutrin, the anti-depressant which is said to often
have people loose weight. Most other types of anti-depressants usually
have people gain weight.

So, this new drug contrave turns out is simply a combination of
some other anti-abuse drub and Wellbutrin mixed together.

Does anyone taking Wellbutrin see it as helping with weight-loss?

Not personally, but I did have a client that is on Wellbutrin for depresesion AND because it helps to lose weight. When he moved into the home, he was well over 487lbs. Not sure if it's JUST the Wellbutrin, and I'm sure it's not, as he's been eating a lot healthier and actually moving on a daily basis, but last I checked he was down to 360 in just two years.

If I remember correctly he's on another anti-depressant, but the doctor keeps him on Wellbutrin for it's help with weight loss.
