  • looking good!
  • It sounds like your Chinese colleagues aren't that much different from Americans.. It's a completely different culture and viewpoint so I know that this is easier to say than do but I wouldn't pay them any mind and would even say something like well in America I'm pretty hot so thanks for your opinion but no thanks.
  • You know how many times I have sat shoving cake into my fat face thinking this? At some point, I just had to do it because my health was in jeopardy (diabetes). But not everyone has a health scare to motivate them. We all have a breaking point and all have our moments of weakness. You got to dust yourself off. and don't…

  • So, just out of curiosity, what kind of maintenance plan do they give you once they remove it? Or is it basically you are on your own?
  • Feel free to add me! I know it can be a rocky journey, but getting to a mountaintop is never just a smooth trail!
  • feel free to add me!
  • Take a before photo of yourself and then take a new one every month. I didn't think I looked any different after losing 25 lbs until I did that (See my porfile picture) and I was like holy ish! And you may not notice it, but others will!
  • I have pretty severe anxiety, it got really bad after I had my daughter almost 3 years ago. I had PPD also. I see a therapist and I engage in quite a bit of self care. And I still have bad days. I have definitely done some emotional eating lol...not that im proud of it, but I just move on from it. I also try not to deprive…
  • OP, are you diabetic? Feel free to add me, I am type 2 diabetic. Today I woke up and did an Insanity Max 30 workout, a good workout for the first time in forever. I forgot how much of a mood booster physical activity is!
  • Also if I make overnight oats for breakfast, I add in a scoop of protein powder.
  • turkey burgers, I bought a package of frozen white meat turkey burgers to meal prep for lunch, so I make a turkey burger (no bun for me) with some vegetables and 1/2 a roasted sweet potato.
  • This!! I can only afford to go like once a year or every other year anyway so I'm going to enjoy it!
  • I agree OP!!!!..................................Firehouse is WAAAAAAY Better :D B)
  • My go to is Kens lite raspberry walnut vinaigrette. I have never been a creamy dressing type person anyway. There is also a sweet balsamic that kraft makes. I haven't made a home made dressing in forever!
  • You cannot cure it. You can manage it well but it is never cured. If you went back to a high carb lifestyle, became sedentary, you would eventually have issues again. I was diagnosed in July last year and I have been taking metformin. I use a blood glucose monitor to help me figure out how many carbs/what types of food…
  • I don't know about PCOS but my diabetes dietician had me working in between 30-60 cabs per meal. Personally I try to stay under that, and I also use a blood glucose monitor to see how different foods affect my blood sugar. But I'm not sure what is required fro PCOS, maybe you can et a referral to a dietician? My friend has…
  • None not to try but a great breakfast one I used to make when I did bootcamp was unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 banana, scoop of protein powder, 1/4 cup of quick cooking oats, a little drizzle of honey, and maybe some berries.
  • pre-bagged salad mix, apples, grapes, tortillas, shredded cheese, sour cream, frozen vegetables, chicken breasts, spaghetti. Those are always on hand in the house. I try to meal plan and snack plan for the week when we go shopping.
  • overnight oats made with almond milk and a scoop of protein powder...some pre-made fruit and granola yogurt parfaits from publix, Those are usually my go-to for breakfast. On paydays I'll get bacon eggs and toast from this place next to my job as a breakfast treat.
  • FOOD. :D Oh probably some kind of big bowl of cheesy pasta and garlic bread, or some soy sauce loaded Chinese food.
  • yeah working out like that and only 1200 calories a day, I'm not surprised you are hangry!
  • Dude, I'm not one to judge, but I'm going to say I doubt you need to lose weight. MY husband is 6'1 and 155 (he has a medical condition) and would give anything to be able to gain about 20 lbs. He is "medically" underweight. I know not everyone agrees with those BMI and weight things but he is skinny AF. Keep working out,…
  • You'll burn a ton in the beginning...then once they start solids and aren't nursing as often...adjust! I dropped so much weight initially after I had my daughter I was UNDER my pre-pregnancy weight in an week (I didn't gain a whole lot bc I was doing bootcamp while pregnant) but after 6 months, the weight started creeping…
  • I still count it as water if I use the crystal light packets. I don't count teas, soda, juice, etc.
  • I eat three meals and snacks in between, but I am diabetic so I am more concerned about keeping my blood sugar stable.
  • CHEESE
  • I was diagnosed with Diabetes last July and lost 30 lbs due to my cutting sugar down. Now, I just want to get back into working out like i used to before i got pregnant, and to hopefully keep my diabetes from progressing worse.
