I'm trying to do this but nothing is happening! How much did you go up by? I originally tried increasing by 400 calories/day, but I just couldn't eat that much so I've now increased it by 200 calories/day on what I had originally.

That's realy useful, thanks. I try to eat clean anyway so I'm going to go for around 85% my TDEE for a couple of weeks and see how it goes. I don't think I could eat any less than that without being hungry all the time!

I've been trying to figure out my calories to lose fat and add lean mass as well. What would you call a moderate calorie deficit? 100-200 calories? Or more?

I've just started protein shakes and my housemate (who's been using them for a long time) recommends Impact whey protein. You can get it from myprotein.co.uk and it seems pretty good value! Also the flavoured stuff tastes just like milkshake. It's amazing.

We have a weird running guy like this at our gym too. He just runs and talks really loudly to himself. If there are any females in the area he will also try to hit on them (while still running and not actually looking at them). I now use the treadmills on the other side of the room. He may have a condition but I don't know.

I have either Warburtons sandwich thins (thin slices of bread for only 100 calories per pair) or Kingsmill 50/50 pockets (pitta bread type things: 93 calories each) with cooked slices of chicken breast and cucumber and a piece of fruit. I'm usually OK until home time, but if I get peckish I'll have some rice cakes or nuts…
