I haven't been tracking for the last 8 weeks. When I was tracking last I was very slowly losing at 1400, but I was also doing less resistance training then.

Those posts and the websites are great, thanks. According to a couple of online TDEE calculators I've found my TDEE is around 1900, so I should be eating around 1500 - 1700 calories a day to decrease fat right? And then after that cycle between 2000 and 2200 calories to gain muscle?

Thanks :) Regarding the HIIT, I only do it with my trainer once a week, and we usually only do it for about 15 mins max (often less). How long do you suggest I do it on my own each time? The same amount or more?

Cake. Giving up cake is a big deal for me. Also putting effort into making fresh, healthy meals in the evening when I'm really tired from work, whereas in the past I would have just stuck a ready-meal in the microwave.

Boring white English. My mum's ancestors are originally romany gypsy and my dad's are Norman nobility though (my great great great etc. granddad is William the Conqueror), so that's a bit less boring.

I read through this and didn't recognise any of these in me thanks to my personal trainer. If I can add one onto this list it would be invest in a personal trainer! They'll make sure you're not making any of the mistakes in the article. It was one of the best investments I made :bigsmile:

Yeah I've started taking measurements but I'm going to wait a while to do my next lot. At the moment I only do weight training on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I just do cardio and core exercises to give my muscles some recovery time.

Perhaps. I'm taking my food diary for this week to my personal trainer on Friday to see what she says. However I did manually adjust my macros on here as per http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ so I assumed they were OK.
