Do you ever Google your name and see what pops up?

I do. At least 2 or 3 times a year. It's interesting. All kinds of stuff on me out there. LOL. Crazy.

    Once in a while, but it is mostly boring technical mailing list stuff. Though the mugshots of the guys who aren't me are kind of cool.

    My name has About 8,260,000 results but first thing that pops up is a bio of someone that is "a mediator, an educator, and an active community organizer in the fields of conflict resolution, violence prevention, and multicultural community..." Interesting.

    My first name and my maiden name pop up with info about a folk singer in San Fran. She also did some work on Nickelodeon so she has a ton of pages about her and her work. My current name just pops up with a couple of women but nothing too crazy.

    Before I decided to change my name, I did google it to make sure I wouldn't be sharing the name with anyone that would hurt me if an interviewer were to google me. Luckily no mug shots exist for my name combo.

    I have a very common name... hundreds in NYC alone... but what does pull up is stuff about a former pro football (American FB, for our friends across the pond and elsewhere) player... And that's best for me, since my work is of a sensitive nature...
