20 pounds? Amazing! Great work!

I think most of us have felt like losers (and not in the good sense) at one time or another. Try to keep your focus on what you can do for yourself today!

Fantastic!

Hi everyone, I'm 48, mom to a 5th and 7th grader, wife to a brilliant but absent minded architect/professor. I also work as technology director at a middle/high school. I definitely feel my best when I'm moving/exercising, and I lost 15 pounds a few years ago doing just that and Weight Watchers. When WW changed their…

I want to join. Please count me in.

I'm in the same boat and trying to get re-motivated. I let it all go for several months and I've got the body (and mind) to show for it! But today is a new day, started it with an early morning walk/jog. I'm thinking about rejoining Weigh Watchers just for some accountability. Not crazy about the Points Plus program for…

I started it Monday. A bit behind the originators but I still like to check in.

I'm several days behind but I'm doing it anyway!

I actually enjoy the solitude that walking brings. When I do it consistently, that is!
-
You look so happy! Congratulations!

Fantastic! Good for you for sticking to it. I started 30DS a few months ago but had some set backs. You've inspired me to give another go!

Awesome!!

I am so right there with you. In my 20s I weighed in at 125. Had children in my 30s and and I went up to 136. I was able to shed the baby weight, even being an older first time mom. But then the 40s arrived. It's like the pounds creep up like magic. And not the good kind either! I've had good success with exercise but I…

Made it to day 10 and I'm ready to try again.

Thanks for the tip. I need a step for some of my videos. My old one didn't make it onto the truck when I moved.

Sounds like a plan!

I was a 34C from high school through early adulthood. Going back to that would be a dream!
-
You look fantastic! I'm using you as inspiration!

I kinda stopped doing it consistently so I guess I'm back to square one. Busy few weeks.

I missed a few days so I'm a little behind, but I lost a few pounds and inches (yay!) . My knees started to bother me after day 6 but I'm pushing through. I may stay with level 1 a little longer to make up for lost time.

I know it's easy to feel defeated but don't. REALLY. I had wings, nachos, margaritas on Friday. When I logged it in I felt like I blew it and almost fell into a funk. We all do it. Once in a while isn't a bad thing if you eat healthy and exercise the other days.

Good for you!

I'm liking the shred more than I thought i would. I try to do zumba once a week and walk or hike 3x a week.

I remember my mom looking pretty hot in her 40s. I don't think I fared as well but I'm working on it.

OK ... is this some kind of weird and unmentioned side effect? I had a sore throat yesterday and this morning. It's better now but I thought it was odd. I usually only get them when my kids do.

I too am a mom of two, though mine are a bit older. It's so hard to find time to take care of yourself when you have a family to care for but it is necessary. We want to be around and healthy to continue to care for them, right?

Don't give anyone power over you. Keep it for yourself. And absolutely go to college. You'll have more regret if you don't go than you would about the possibility of running into someone.
