My ex was like that, I hated going out to eat with her because she was so picky she always wanted them to make her something not even close to being on the menu. Embarrassing...

Laspadas original hoagies. More of a hole in the wall than anything, but it's legendary down here.

We don't look forward to summer down here, it's either Africa hot or thunderstorms until October.

Your least calorie option is going to be the tenderloin. Depending on what temperature you cook it and how exactly it's prepared you're looking at 45-60 calories per ounce for the steak itself. You should ask for no cheese and the sauce one the side. Also if it comes with potatoes or pasta ask if they will substitute some…

It's a mental thing, some people have it really bad where they get physically ill or have panic attacks if you force them to eat what turns them off. It's kinda like a phobia. IMO the best way to get the benefits of fruits and veggies is to make and drink fresh juice. You can literally get all the vitamins and nutrients of…

Ummm, wool does rhyme with fool in any accent. You're either not sure what rhyme means or you're having trouble pronouncing wool...

Judging from your weight loss rate you are in deficit about 250 calories per day if I remember by metric conversions correctly. If you don't strictly weigh and log everything you consume you really don't know for sure how many calories you are eating. Looks like your getting more than you think.
-
I don't get it. She lost just a shade over one pound a week. If she was really at such a huge calories deficit wouldn't she had lost more weight more quickly?

I like my coffee in liquid form. Cold, over ice with a splash of half and half( it's hot down here). Instead of the frappacino I'd prefer a milkshake. Specifically a Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla milkshake.

Go metric, it's much more precise and easier to gauge/measure. Your scale already has grams and you measuring cup has milliliters I don't know why we are so stubborn with our teaspoons and cups. There are 3 countries in the entire world that aren't on the metric system, Myanmar, Liberia, and us...

There is a lot of anti milk propaganda floating around lately. Basically the argument is that we are the only species on the planet that consumes milk after childhood which is meant to imply it is unnatural. They will also toss around that 3/4 of the worlds population is lactose intolerant as another sign it's bad for you.…

In South Florida we have Pollo Tropical which grills fresh marinated chicken. It's great because it's a fast food restaurant but it's real fresh food they make in house. It's not a bunch of processed crap they wheel in the back door frozen. If you have Whole Foods Market near you they have a ton of really healthy hot and…

Don't give up. It sucks your family isn't supporting you but they're not making you eat. You didn't really have to go to the restaurant with them did you? You are an adult and if you need to put your foot down, then do it. You might take some extra ribbing from the fam for it but so what? It's your body, it's your goals…

Never seen the tofu noodles before, just googled them. You never know, I thought cauliflower pizza crust was gonna be horrible and I ended up liking it. Substitutes are never as good as the real thing but sometimes they're good in their own right.

Cut the carbs. You don't necessarily have to replace it with fats. 12 ounces of steamed broccoli even with a whole tablespoon of butter will only cost you 200'calories (about as much as your apple) and keep you full for hours. There are lots of different veggies you could rotate so you don't get bored eating the same thing.

Do: Be attractive Don't: Not be attractive

I would stay away from the greens and go for the carbs that you will need on your run. I would use a carrot base then add whatever suits your taste, like apple, orange, pineapple, beet, etc. I would also include a few stalks of celery for the sodium, or,else add a pinch or two of salt which will give you the same benefit…

Don't worry, I'm not talking about you. I'm sure yours are as real as your profile pics...

I'm sure some of them are, there are probably some pro photographers on here but common sense will tell you most of them got pulled off the internet somewhere. A normal pic snapped with a cell phone is much more likely than a styled photo that's been professionally lit, shot with an expensive dslr camera and run through…

I like channa chaat, basically a fresh chickpea salad can be served cold. There are all kinds of different chaats that should work well for you. I also like dahi vada, lentil balls with a curd sauce. Some nice veggie pakoras can be good cold if you're ok with something fried. At my dad's house though there is always some…

Crust is made out of cauliflower and you would really never know it. There sure a lot of professionally made pics on this thread, show us what you really ate...

It's hard to enjoy lord of the rings unless you've read the books and are familiar with the story. The movies do not do a good job filling you in on who everyone is and why everything is happening. It's one of those if you watch twice you'll like better the second time because you'll understand it better. They were way…

Well if your numbers were 100% accurate you would lose 1 pound every 35 days and about 11 pounds over the course of 1 year.

I like the elliptical because I feel like I'm burning more than just walking and I'm not in good enough shape to run yet so it's a good compromise. The ones in my gym are big fat liars though when it comes to calories burned, nowhere close to accurate. Plus my foot falls asleep after a while for some reason...

I have the fitbit one which goes in your pocket or clips to your clothes and have had zero false readings in cars or anywhere really. The one uses a few different accelerometers to count steps so it's hard to fool it. The NIH even studied it and it's very accurate for number of steps but a little less accurate measuring…
-
I love my fitbit one. I just slip it in my pocket every day, set MFP to sedentary and it seamlessly tracks my calorie expenditure throughout the day. The more active you are, the more calories MFP gIves you to eat. It's pretty accurate too as the amount of weight I lose say in a week or a month matches up to the amount of…

As long as you have a healthy bmi, I say good for you. It's really Madison Avenue that says you should be a size 2 and look a certain way. All that matters is that you are healthy and happy with yourself. You don't need to live up to anyone's preconceived notion of who you should be on any level. Be your own person and…

It's ok to be under some if that's what you want as long as you feel good and aren't hungry. Don't let all these people take you to task like they're experts or something. Even the real experts with medical degrees who study these things do not normally agree with each other. The most important thing is that you listen to…
