According to the sites and the excel sheet created by the MFP person my BMR is 1500-1600. What does maintenance number mean? If I go by this I should eat about 2,200 calories and not eat back my exercise calories. I am still confused if I should also deduct the 10-15% for deficit from that number.

That seems like a lot, but I will try to up it and see what happens. I had forgotten to add in the little cream cheese I had today so I am up to 1,033 net now.

Wow, it says I should eat almost 2,200 calories since I am in the moderately active category. I don't see how I can eat that much! Do I use that or the Harry Benedict BMR number?

Is this what I should eat before or after exercise calories?

I haven't been eating my calories back. For example today I have eaten 1,328 calories. I burned 445 calories from exercise today. It is telling me my net is only 883 calories. I feel like I have eaten a lot though and had 3 meals and 2 snacks. MFP has my daily goal set at 1,380 before exercise calories.

I started 30 day shred today. I ordered the DVD on amazon but used my computer and did it with the YouTube video. I just finished and I'm sweating like crazy!! It feels great to feel the burn! Can't wait to see the results. I took my starting pics and need to do measurements still tonight.

Very good point!! I'd rather eat my calories on more than peanut butter with that many calories wasted for the protein!!

I ordered it on Amazon last night. I am going to start level one tonight using the YouTube video on my laptop that someone suggested. Hopefully I can connect it to my tv.

Wow, 13 inches lost is awesome! I am more concerned about how I look and feel in my clothes and being toned than the number on the scale. I haven't been keeping up with inches at all. I think I'm going to order it on Amazon today! I can't wait to try it!!
