You need to eat more than 1200 calories. After burning cals doing insanity plus more cardio you will be putting your body into starvation mode. Not sure why MFP puts 1200 as the magic number but it's not!!

You need to drink at least 64 oz of water a day. I wouldn't get so set on a weight number. Set goals physically and that is more important than the number on the scale in my opinion. If I were you I would take measurements and track progress that way also. Good luck!

I wouldn't eat back your exercise calories. Honestly, at 5'7" and 142 lbs you are probably pretty thin. How much are you wanting to lose? Congrats on the weight you have lost so far! If you don't want to have to get out to exercise, I recommend trying a DVD that you can do at home. I like the Jillian Michaels DVD's 30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. Best of luck!

I am so glad to hear you say this! I totally agree and I don't eat mine back since my dietician friend calculated my calories based on my activity level. There is so much controversy regarding this topic on MFP.

I have never found a bra that held mine in place until recently. Based on recommendations here I bought the Moving Comfort Juno bra on Amazon. I paid $30 for it and it's awesome. These suckers don't move even when I do jump and jacks!!

I just got it today! I have already completed 5 days of Level One though. The complete Level One is on YouTube. I have been just using my laptop and doing it. It kicks your butt, but I love it so far!!! I also got Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones and can't wait to try it soon! Good luck!!

I used this site to calculate my TDEE in the above post. So if I follow what you are saying I need to eat 1,944 calories. On my exercise days (6 days a week) I am burning about 450 calories. That puts me at about 1,500 net.

It says my TDEE is 2,444. So that means that I should eat 10-20% below this number, correct? If so, I would need to eat between 1,955-2,199 and not eat back my exercise calories. Most of my exercise days I burn about 450 calories, so this sounds right I guess. Am I analyzing this correctly? So basically net 1,500-1,700…
