Before getting properly analyzed for shoes, I suffered blisters and shin splints - totally worth the money to get shoes that work for your gait.

I've always wanted a Calvin & Hobbes tattoo, something from this strip:

I had it may years ago (was training too hard), a cortisone shot did nothing - went to a chiropractor that worked with athletes and although it was painful (he would dig into the spot), he got me back on the road and did not try to convince me I needed extended care. Hope all go well - it is not fun to deal with.

been Keto for 60 days now and down 15lbs - have had no issues with cutting the carbs and liking the way I am feeling and clothes are fitting - still have a ways to go but it is great to see the scale moving downward after so long of it climbing up.

I would think you could find a lot of coconut milk based soups if you are looking for creamy. I use Yummly.com as a recipe search engine and you can put in dietary preferences like low carb/paleo, etc. Nutritional information and calorie counts are included with the recipes.

the Y, LA Fitness and I believe Lifetime offer child care hours and sometimes joint parent kid classes. I would involve them as much as possible - can they bike while you run? Can you set up a little home gym and have routines for them to participate in as well.

Harriet, Calhoun (or whatever they are calling it nowadays), Lake of the Isle all have paths around them for walking/biking. Nine Mile is also good - check out three rivers park district or Minneapolis park board websites for maps, etc

I had this experience with butternut squash the other night- salt, pepper, olive oil but it tasted so mush sweeter than I remembered (and really good).

2nd day of no phones or internet at work so working from home on a gorgeous June day - would knock off early except for a stupid late day conference call

I go to a place that offers bootcamp classes - I like the variety and the people I work out with, but the intensity varies by instructor and sometimes I do want a straight weight workout.

I wasn't a huge fan of the fathead - have tried this one twice now - crust holds up much better for me (although full disclosure - I did not have psyllium powder so used flax seed instead) https://www.ruled.me/low-carb-pepperoni-pizza/

I was about the same age - for me it was the Barbie Dreamhouse with the elevator - sigh - I tried to keep it going for my daughter as long as I could
