1/4 cup steel cut oats, 2 tablespoons flax seed, (nasty) 14oz chocolate muscle milk, 2 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter, 1 cup frozen mixed fruit. Not a bad smoothie except for the muscle milk. I will use the smart balance milk tomorrow.

Salt is in all foods these days. Proccessed foods are the worst. It is essential. I agree with 2000mg. Also, I do not think sea salt is any better or worse for our bodies. The proccessing is different, but I think it is a marketing to say it is a healthier alternative.

I was the same way with diet coke. I have one or two a week now. I used to have a 12pack or so a day and possibly even more. I drink water and unsweetened black tea these days.

I completed c25k back in October I think. I think I ran 4-5 days a week. I know run 5-6 days a week, and I am able to do 8 mile runs twice a week. I realized it when it took me 5 - 10 mins to get out of bed in the morning. If I tried to just get up any quicker my knees and back hurt so bad that I could barely walk. My other clue was when I realized I was out growing my 3XL clothes and I was fitting into 56 pants.

I run 8 miles twice a week. I haven't tried anymore. I never tracked the distance when I was in the Army. The longest was probably a 1/2 marathon.
