It depends on your weight. When I weighed between 350 lbs and 250 lbs I could eat 2200 calories a day and lose weight. Now, at 210 lbs, I have to eat around 1800 to lose weight. Any more than that and I maintain or gain weight. Cut out all of the garbage foods. Yes, one can lose weight eating garbage calories and be under…

I get hungry like this too. It is not every day. I try to ride it out, but I usually end up eating too much on those days. My suggestion is drink some water and when you are done drink some more. This too will pass! Keep Punching!!

Oh, did I mention peanut butter. An awesome source of protein and healthy fats.
-
I eat meats, veggies, eggs, and beans. I easily get my protein in for the day. I do not see how one would come up short. 4oz of chicken has roughly 36g of protein. I do not like eating the processed protein shakes and snacks. Soy beans and regular beans are high in protein. The protein doesn't have to come form meats. A…

I eat chicken for lunch everyday and I have it 3 times a week at dinner. It doesn't bother me. I can eat some foods day in and day out. My wife doesn't understand it either. I would try and change it up a bit. Grilled chicken is different than baked or even fried in olive oil. You can change spices or different vegetables…

BMI is BS! According to the calculator I am 31.7 or Obese. I am 5' 9" and my weight is 215lbs. I haven't been Obese for over a year now. The calculator can give a general figure, but it does not take into account body composition. At 190 the calculator has me at being overweight and at 28.1. I have to be 169 lbs to be…

No! Your body does not know if it is 5 am or 5 pm.

BMI is BS. No way you are obese. The outdated chart says I am obese also. BMI does not take into consideration of body type. I am 5'9" and I weigh 215lbs, but I have larger body shape. Taking the ratio between height and weight does not equate to someones overall health.

I haven't read any replies. I agree 100% with your post.

I say this is bull****!

Yes, nutritional info is posted on their website. I eat there all of the time. Very healthy. 400 - 500 calories for my meals there usually and depending on the day I may eat chips. http://www.chipotle.com/en-us/menu/menu.aspx

20 min 5k is awesome and doable. I have got mine down to 25 mins. I average a 9 min mile, but faster during a race.

In theory yes. I was on Atkins 2 different times. First time I lost 65 lbs then gained it back because I didn't learn anything. The second time I lost 20 lbs then I couldn't lose a pound more so I started counting calories. Now 120 lbs lost I will stick to counting calories. When I was on Atkins I was eating well over 3000…

What about your meal was cheat? No way you gained 4 lbs from this meal.

Simply amazing! Congratulations!!

What a *kitten*!

The guy is probably from New York or New Jersey!

Texting during the previews. Who cares. The guy didn't deserve to die. I hope the old murder goes to prison for the rest of his life. I do not like people texting at inappropriate times either, but shooting him.

With that much walking everyday you should be able to eat 3500 calories a day and maintain your weight. I don't see 20 -25 miles a day. I get the 10 miles to and from work, but 13 miles at work. Fitbit is over exaggerating the distance.

Salad, Fresh fish, Some veggies

I started running with the c25k app on my phone June 2012. At the time, I hadn't run in over 12 years since the Army. I now currently average about 20 -30 miles a week. I honestly believe I would not have been successful if I hadn't taken the c25k approach. There are other apps out there. Use whichever one works for you.

I will stick to my android phone. Damn iphone/aol users!

I lost 60lbs walking 5-6 days a week 2 years ago when I started. Be aware that MFP over estimates calorie burn.
-
Walking burn about 100 calories per mile. Running/jogging 100 - 150 calories per mile. Most if not all dreadmills I have been on over estimate calories burn. My hrm varies from day to day.
