Any time I quit something, whether cigarettes or soda, it is cold turkey. After abstaining for a while, I don't have the desire for it anymore. Now on the very rare occasion when I have a sip of soda, it tastes so syrupy sweet I can't even enjoy it.

I'm 5'8, 180lbs, looking to lose about 30lbs more. I've already lost 130lbs but this last little bit is proving to be the toughest part.

I have a similar medication predicament. I'm on Synthroid and have to take it in the AM on an empty stomach with nothing except water for at least an hour after. Thankfully I prefer fasted. I feel so sick if I eat within 2hrs prior of running.

I have hypothyroidism, also on Synthroid, and have had elevated liver enzymes my entire life. I dropped from 306lbs to 195lbs and as of February, my enzymes are still elevated. My doctor mentions it after every blood test but does not seem super concerned about it either. I honestly don't even know what it would take to…

I have super brittle nails. 5 of them broke off just this week. But I've always attributed that to my hypothyroidism. I haven't noticed any significant change in my nails since surgery, even with taking extra biotin supplements.
