Oh yeah, My current weight is 189 lbs. So, my goal weight by October 31, 2012 is 169 lbs.

Good luck. I found your post funny....interesting. I have been a massive Diet Coke drinker for years. I drank up to a case (24 cans) per day if not more sometimes. I have now been totally Diet Coke free for the past 3 weeks. I really do not miss it. I drink a lot of green tea and water. Anyway, good luck with your kicking…

ICE....and Stretch. Especially stretch your calf muscles prior to walking or running. Shin splints are basically caused by the calf muscle being disproportionate to the tibialis anterior muscle or a tightness in the calf muscle. EIther way it can cause a 'pulling' on the tinialis anterior muscles which run along the shn.…

Hey kmuree I am sorry to hear that someone is that insensitive. Hey, just keep doing what you are doing. None of us are perfect...at least those of us who are maybe a bit overweight are here at MyFitnessPal trying to do better. Do not let the evil words of another person hurt you. They are only showing their ignorance!

Yes, I too really like this site. I have been running 3 miles per day (almost every day) since joining last week. Haven't weighed myself yet...going to wait a few weeks, but I already feel better just after 8 days.
