I totally agree with Lucy and her trainer. We have been programmed over the years that fat is our enemy but our body does need small portions of it to stay healthy. I'd check with a nutritionist or dietician to make sue that you are getting the correct amounts of food especially if you are only taking in 1200 calories!

I am so glad to see you post this. I have been trying to figure out what to do about my sugar because I know I can jumpstart my weight loss by eliminating a majority of my sugar which comes from milk. I crave milk constantly adnit is my main source of calcium.

BTW - I am under the advise of a nutritionist. Sugar does matter - whether it's from fruit or dairy. If you are trying to lose fat, you don't want to eat a lot of fruit (no more than one serving a day) and possibly cut out dairy all together. I drink wine almost everyday for cholesterol/heart reasons, I prefer reds but do enjoy a zinfandel on occasion! myhusband and I also drink beer on the weekends. no it doesn't help with the weight loss but if i'm not enjoying my life why should i work on trying to lose the weight anyway.
