Feel free to add me! :)

I'm currently 165lbs, 5'7 and am eating ~1400 calories a day. The macro calculator I used recommended a 20% deficit but I bumped it to 10%.

I'm on week 2. I'm loving keto and am down 9.2 lbs. Sending you a friend request!

Feel free to add me too (anyone - I need buddies)!

I'm new to macros too. I found a IIFYM facebook group and paid a coach for my macro numbers because I was overwhelmed! I'm on day 3 today!

Nana - Go to "Settings," "Diary Settings," "Diary Sharing" - Then you can choose public (anyone can see) or just friends. I believe this can only be completed on a PC - not through the phone app.

Starting up now. Wold love new friends!

Kinda silly... But I pump myself up while I'm laying in bed before I go to sleep. I think about how great I'll feel after my work out in the morning and think about what machines I'm going to use/what muscles I'm going to focus on. It works for me!

Doesn't seem like it's a bad thing, especially if you're trying to build muscle while losing weight.... http://www.webmd.com/diet/guide/high-protein-diet-weight-loss

Welcome!! If I did my calculations right, we're at the same starting weight (138lbs?). 125 is my goal but I've only been able to make it down to 134 :( But, I'm chugging along, focusing more on working out. My clothes are fitting looser so something I'm doing is right, even though the scale won't budge! I sent you a friend…

I'd make your diary public. What do you eat? What I eat and when I eat really determines how hungry I feel!
-
Aww, I need to start taking mine with me on runs! Thanks for sharing!
-
You look great! Congrats on your accomplishment!

I've had to start wearing a belt because my pants were working their way down at work! I've never been a belt person and they are such a hassle but I'll deal with it!

I recently bought the Polar FT60 and I love it!! It's easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to read during work outs. Here it is on Amazon... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001F0PVNA/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I got one that was listed as "used" on Amazon (warehouse deals) and it came in a sealed box and…

Here's an excellent article (in my opinion) that explains calorie burning: http://www.boxingscene.com/weight-loss/41811.php

Makes sense but I have no idea! I know on my heart rate monitor it shows the calories and the fat calories. I wonder if fat calories has something to do with it? Time to do some research!

Skinny Fat has nothing to do with being under weight or is it specific to stomach fat. In your quote (which is an excellent description) it defines it, "you are under lean but over fat -- not enough muscle and too much fat." Under lean = little muscle mass.

I don't know what's keeping the scale from moving but I would take soda out of the equation all together. It has no health benefits! Look into clean eating. A great place to start is with Kelsey Byers' book "Eat Clean and Follow Your Dreams." In it she talks about how she really didn't see results until she changed her…

Yum, sounds delcious!
-
It's true. Plenty of research is out there on it. If you just do cardio with no strength training you become "skinny fat."

I'm the biggest I've ever been (which still isn't considered big by most at 135 lbs, 5'5, 26 y/o) and I've had white stretch marks on the side of my butt cheeks ever since I can remember. They were never red though.

When you lose the 80 lbs you have to lose, don't you think you will dress better and flaunt your loss? This is a quote that I love for every aspect of life.... "If you continuously compete with others, you become bitter. But if you continuously compete with yourself you become better." Don't worry about what others are…

I don't have much coordination or flexibility but I found yoga A LOT harder than the cool down on 30 Day Shred!
