As long as you are not starving yourself and you feel ok with what you eat --Continue doing what you are doing. High number are normal at first. the you have a lot to lose so 20 lbs is normal - it will slow down on its own soon. If you can spot "increase" body building then you can spot reduce...It may not have quick noticeable results but its possible. Just my opinion from experience.

I read labels all the time....check for SUGAR (my weakness too) & sodium < another reason why I don't eat out. I cook everything. Cant have too much Sodium.

I am not good with eating my calories (NET) so I cant help there....need to figure that out myself. BUT never starve! If you are hungry EAT even if you will go over JUST make it clean food

That seems good if you feel ok with it. BUT your focus of IMPROVEMENT is FOOD. try preparing your food on Sunday (veggies, sweet potatoes etc) and store in fridge. I gained 12 lbw eating Nutella during the winter while going to the gym 6 times a wk. CLEAN food must be implemented. keep trying to substitute it.

OK girl you win! dam! :( I have not lost in 1 and 1/2 month. On MFP for 3 moths. Lost 12 lbs in 8 wks, then went up 3 lbw. I did start doing strength training and have lost some inches but the scale is not moving. Today is a low faith day and losing motivation :( I work HARD. 6 times a wk. Eat healthy 98% of the time.

I am 5'1 -Started April 17, 2012 @ 142; -winter weight gain courtesy of NUTELLA & eating out. Lost the 12 lbs in 2mths. Now I am doing more strength training. Not losing weight, only inches. The changes are happening slower, or it seems since the scale is not moving. Similar stats? add me.
