  • I agree with shrinkingsusi, Just because one is religious, or goes to church/is brought up in a religious household does not make them any better than any other child/teenager. I was adamently Atheist when i got into high school and i knew LOADS of kids that would Party Hard on the weekends with booze/drugs ect and then…
  • If your son loves going, like you've stated, i suppose just let him go. Myself and My husband are Atheists and we raise our 2 children in a secular household. I was raised as a Catholic so i had to attend Mass every Sunday and go through the motions of being a Catholic Girl (Eucharist/Communion/Baptism ect).....When i got…
  • THIS^^^ I'm very petite and short; therefore people always assume that i am 16 and that when i'm out with my kids i'm the babysitter. No, Fool! I'm 27 and a Mother. Also, since i'm hispanic i must love alcohol.....seriously?
  • Wow, what a difference in the weight loss! You can see a noticible difference in your face alone between the pictures! That's amazing progress.
  • I have 2. A 6 1/2 year old Son and a 4 year old Daughter.
  • you've got to eat a lot of potassium enriched foods to be able to reach the maximum allotment of potassium daily. I'm instructed to take in 4500mg daily or i need to go on meds for it and it is SO Difficult for myself. Most people don't get anywhere near the recommended 3500mg> However, if you want to watch you K+ then…
  • I've got these exact same Knee Highs (wearing them now!) along with probably AT LEAST 10 other Knee High Socks, all from the $2.50 Target Rack.

  • I've been thinking about it, i just don't know if it's something that i can do. I'll look into it at my next Doctors Appointment next week. It seems like i've plateaued on toning via Cardio/Some Ab Exercises.
  • That is an amazing Transformation! I would like to lift weights, i'm not on here to loose weight; i want to tone myself (midsection mainly) and just watch what i eat. Maybe i should talk to my doctor about it.....
  • You look great!!! I understand the change a body goes through from Pregnancy/Birth and all of that. And, afterwards when you're healed you definitely dn't feel yourself and want to get back to the 'old' you. And, boy does it feel amazing when you reach that goal. You look amazing, and you did it way before baby's first…
  • I try to shoot for at least 1 day a week. But, sometimes i'm so exhausted that i only workout maybe 4-5 days a week. My workouts aren't very long usually 30-60 minutes/day. If i'm feeling really good and full of energy i'll do 90 minutes/day/
  • I myself am relatively young compared to a lot of people that are on here (i'm 27 y/o) and i admit i am petite and rather small/slim. I'm not on here to loose weight, just to eat and live a healthier life. Anyways, i've noticed a lot over the years, especially going back 15 years when i was junior high. The children now a…
  • 5' 3/4" (~154 cm) ~103 lbs (~46/7 kg) 27 y/o I wear a Small or XS in shirts most of the time. But, if i buy from Threadless or Holister/Areopostale i'm a Medium (I've got a large breast bone from surgery) I wear an XS in Pants/Short which is usually a 0/1 in Jeans. I do have some that range from 3-5 but i rarely wear them.
  • Hmm....i know this is going to sound horrible. But, i wouldn't have had my kids. I have two kids right now, but after i had them my health seriously deteriorated. It's not like it just happened on a fluke, i have been sick my entire life, i should've known what pregnancy, childbirth and the stress that ensues from having…

  • You look amazing for being 9 months post-partum! I'm 47 Months post-partum (LOL) myself. I'm just working on toning right now :D. What a great story!
  • You should be attempting to NET at LEAST 1200 cals a day. So if you are burning 500 Cals a day in exercise then that means you should be eating around 1700 Cals a day. Of course, this is all based on the minimum of needing 1200 cals a day just to base line. Of course, sometimes under doctors orders people can't eat that…

  • ^^^For Reals. I'm sick of seeing this ridiculous "War on Christmas"..."Put Christ back in Christmas" bs on FB. I don't celebrate, and my mom wasn't too pleased when my kids said Happy Winter Solstice/Saturnalia and not Merry Christmas to her when she talked about it the other day. It has NOT always been christmas.…
  • Maybe change the types of foods that you are eating. I've noticed with myself is that you got to look not so much at the scale but at your actual body measurements/size. For example, the past 6 months i've yo-yo-'d up and down with a specific 6 lbs. No biggie to me since i'm not here for weightloss. However, i've realized…
  • You look Great!!! Congrats on the Progress the past 3 months!

  • Absolute perfection! 'he can carry it on a husk.'....'its not a matter of where he grasps it, it's a matter of weight ratio!'...'a 1 ounce bird cannot carry a 1 pound coconut!....
  • There's a seriously obvious difference between those two pictures. i wonder why your friends say nothing.
  • I sometimes allow myself a 'Free Day', but that's a once in a while thing when i know we are going to be out and about and i'm not cooking the food myself ect. However, i've found over the past 6 1/2 months or so cheat days aren't as important to me as they used to be. Initially i was looking at this as a diet. But, once…
  • I have to keep my Sodium at 1,500 mg/day or under. What i've found is to stay AWAY from all forms of Processed foods. Some days i'm really good, others i go over like crazy because i have something from the frozen foods section. Also, if you drink Soda; that's got like 800 mg/sodium in just 1 12 oz can. Also, try to cook…
