I've gone to almond milk, the stuff I get is 30 calories per cup. I use it in protein shakes I normally make for breakfast. I like it though I find it a bit more watery than i'm used to with milk.

I'm grilling up boneless, skinless chicken breasts that I've used a dry rub of my own design upon. I've used MIO, well the Walmart version as it's about $1 cheaper at times. Most times, I'll add slices of lemon and/or lime to the water.

I have a drink or two in a given week. Never was a big drinker. I'm a vodka and gin drinker. Vodka gimlets or Gin n Diet Tonic. Not a lot of calories for two of these at all.

I agree Southbeach is an excellent source. I'm T2 and limit my carbs to 90 per day under doctors direction. I honestly feel better without the carbs and a bit more protein. I found that cauliflower isn't a bad substitute for potatoes or in mac n cheese. I just last week came off of one of the meds I was on for a few weeks…

Nope, don't feel guilty. During the week of Christmas I will be moving down to 1 per week as well for a bit... just want to enjoy the family time.
